I really need your help. HELP ME

I hope you are all doing great & thank you so much for having the time to read my thread.

This is the most important thread for me, it means a lot, so please take it easy on me and try to help me with your experience.

I'm stuck in this internet marketing thing and I need your advice & help to get out from my boring 9-5 job.

I've always knew that making a serious income from the internet is possible, 3 years ago I got serious about it, I was a big fan of SmartPassiveIncome by Pat Flynn. While I was browsing his website, I ended up finding Alex Becker from Source-Wave, he is all about SEO, he is a genuine guy, he provided an awesome free information on his website that made me the first dollar online

I learned a lot from his blog, I read all his posts and took a serious actions about SEO, I ranked my first affiliate sites and made 24K in less than 10 months, I was so happy, I thought this is it, I've done it.

Unfortunately, with all Google updates and changes, I have lost my main sites and went back to zero.

After all that, I kept trying to follow up with SEO to get new sites ranked, but the methods I'm using are not working the same anymore, it's taking way more time and effort and the results that I'm seeing are not what I want.

I know that SEO is a long term business, but it's not my thing anymore, I don't want my income to rely on Google's updates and i don't want to spend months or years using white hat techniques to hopefully get my sites ranked.

Please don't get me wrong, SEO is great, It could be easy and exciting for some people, but I can't do it anymore.

Long story short, I don't want to do SEO for the rest of my life, as I know, if i put the same amount money, time & effort in something else, I will have more solid business, that I can rely on for years to come.

I've always heard that building and email list and having my own audience is the way to go to have a solid & long lasting business.

This is where i need your help guys, let me explain to you quickly where I'm stuck at this moment

First problem:

I don't want to create a squeeze page that converts solo traffic or paid traffic to subscribers that I don't know anything about, and then email them on daily or weekly basis some free information or some affiliate offers, that i don't know anything about to make some money out of them. This is the traditional way that every course I found online is teaching. It never made any sense for me, that's why I've never started doing it.

I want to provide a real value, i want to have a good & real relation with my subscribers, I want them to know me and i want to know their problems and try to solve it for them. BUT HOW??

Second problem:

I was good at SEO, I thought I can have my own audience by showing them how to rank sites and make money out of them like i did in 2014, but as i explained before, everything has changed, I'm not good at it as before, and I don't look at SEO as a solid business like before, so there is no real value that i can provide to them.

MY QUESTION TO YOU IS:

What should I do if I currently don't have a real value to provide ?

Should I learn something new from scratch and be good at it, then start building my email list around it?

Is that the only way? do I need to learn something new from scratch ? IF YES

Then what should I learn ? How can i know that thing I will learn will be interesting to people? they always say follow your passion, follow your passion.............. my passion is my computer, but how can I be so specific ?

How do i find something good to learn about and teach people and provide a real value about it?

Those couple of questions are driving me crazy, I don't know where to start from ?

I'm an action taker, I'm happy to learn and study something new to be good at it, then teach it, but how can I find this thing ? I thought SEO is my thing, and now I can't do it anymore, I can't stand google's changes every single day, spending days and hours on building PBNs, articles, hosting, registrars and more and more and more..............

Please guys, I'm deadly serious about internet marketing, I want to be successful in this field, but i need a trusted track to follow, I need helpful suggestions and ideas.

Please, if you have been stuck in this situation like me, and you've made it, please let me know how you did it, I'm an action taker, I will never give up, but I don't want to spend a lot of time, money and effort on something that will not work for me, time goes so quickly and I don't want to make it when i'm 60 years old.

I will put everything in my coming idea, I don't want to lose all that time without having success, I know i will not make it from the first time, and I will fail a couple of times before I make it, i totally understand that.

I want to do something that is done before, and people are making a real living from it.

Leave me your suggestions and don't put me down please, If I said anything crazy or wrong, correct me, don't laugh at me, and let me know what should I do.

    Hy man,I think you should start by finding out what you love to do,you sayd that your passion is your computer ,so start digging,what exactly do you love about this, break it down, the way I see it is:
    1.Find out what you would like to learn and spend time with for the next ...let's say 5 years
    2.Learn it ,or if you already learned it start to perfect itand after that you will have that value to offer
    3.You need a place where you can interact with your customers and give them that value.I mean a Website
    4.They get the value and they would want more,so they will subscribe and this is how you make that email list
    5.You create real connection with your subscribers cause IT IS POSSIBLE and create even more value for which you would charge some $

    This is how I see it in 5 steps ,I don't know what else should you do in order to see yourself as an internet marketer and make some bucks to get rid of that 9-5 job of yours

    Here are my suggestions:

    1. Learn search & display PPC / PPM / PPV, video advertising, click to call, in-app mobile PPC / PPM / PPI, paid press release distribution and social media PPC / PPM / PPV. Your sufficient knowledge in SEO (previous strategies that worked and current SEO standards today) will help, especially if you've done extensive market research for your previous SEO campaigns;

    2. Learn everything there is about buying in Flippa (or in other website and domain buy & sell marketplaces) a quality site and an app with potential. Your SEO knowledge will also help, since you'd be able to spot for sale sites (including sites where for sale apps are published) with decent SEOMoz DA and PA, good backlink profile (mainly for traffic funneling purposes) and non-spammy links;

    3. Since you mentioned you like computers, perhaps you want to provide value to consumers in the technology industry? Choose a niche. Of course, perform extensive market research so as to pinpoint a set of demands from a significantly sized market under a viable niche that you can supply with the value that you can provide, and to identify added value that you can offer so as to differentiate you from your competitors;

    4. Based on your market data and the things you learned in numbers 1 to 3 above - Purchase a site and an app in Flippa (or in other marketplaces) that can allow you to provide content that's packed with value to your target market in your target niche under the technology industry, to cost-effectively advertise your content so as to drive quality traffic to your site, to successfully convert that traffic to leads (use your app as your lead magnet); and

    5. Monetize those leads -- Others here will tell you to pitch affiliate products, CPA / CPL offers, sell your digital info products, convince them to sign up for your coaching program and so on. Well, here's what I recommend:

    • There are many ways where you can drive your traffic to advertisers that have more effective ways to convert your traffic to sales, especially through inbound telesales, and they have significantly higher order value averages ($200 and above), and they also pay out high commissions for quality calls (40% and above) ...

    What I'm doing right now is:

    ** Close contracts with traffic sources in the technology industry (mostly software company merchants and affiliates who run tech website networks) and my partner call center network that supports English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Polish and Russian;

    ** Traffic source partners earn 40% commissions for each sale that's generated by my partner call center network from the inbound calls that the traffic sources drive, and traffic source partners also get from us free 100% tech support and customer support call center services for the callers that they drive to my partner call center network; and

    ** I earn 2% commissions for each sale, as a broker of these contracts. Also:

    ** My partner call center network has a 25% sales conversion average for a $200 average order value across these languages for the last 3 years ...

      How are we supposed to know what will work for you?

      Did no one ever tell you that building a business can cause you to spend time and money on things that might not work?

      And what is wrong with being 60 when you make it?

      Well, if those sites were converting you could have either sold them or opted for paid advertising on them or figure out how to fix your seo problem. If you fixed your own seo issue, that would be information others might pay for.

    When you made that 24k, did you reinvest with either Pat Flynn or Alex Becker, cause both those guys are still crushing it?
    Just makes sense, doesn't it...

    to go back to the well which gave you the water?

    But, OK, you don't want to do SEO, and you are another guy who blames
    Google for your loss. This time, don't build you business on someone's shore.

    This being said...your passion is your computer.
    What does this mean?

    Can you build them? Fix them? Design software for them?

    Drill down a little deeper, what exactly about your computer do you love?

    I'm not sure you understand how valuable your experience was/is to other people, if for no other reason than as a cautionary tale about SEO and gaming or trying to, game Google.

    IF you can offer a little bit more about your passion with your computer, then it is hard for us to offer any real help. As you will see, you'll get all kinds of opinion about what you "should" do...or you'll read "what I did"...

    But none of that may be suitable for you to follow.

    There are untold thousands who earn via their love of their computer, so, again, help us to help you get a better idea about what you want to do, ok?
