Working on my first video:) Did your videos help your conversions???

Hello again,

I'm promoting a CB product with Squidoo, Hub Pages and Ezine. I'm getting some good Clickthru action and got a sale on 7/29. I'm working on my first video and I was wondering if using videos made a significant difference in anyone's campaigns? Did your conversions improve when you attached a video to your webpage? I honestly feel like it will breed a lot of trust with possible customers. Any insights or personal experiences will be greatly appreciated

Scott

If you are not building an email list, I recommend you doing that ASAP... that will increase the conversions the most.

But to answer your question, yes. Videos have increased conversions for a variety of niche sites. Best thing to do is test it yourself and see your results. Remember, no 2 IM businesses are the same... something that works for me might not work for you.

Test, Test, Test and learn from experience.

Many people say video is the future in IM. Personally, I relate way better to a video sales pitch or review over a written one. You are spot on about the trust issue. Psychologically, as a buyer, the more you know about the seller, the more you feel able to trust them. When you trust, you buy! I would go for it ... do the video

I have been told the same thing and indeed, my video at my Income Fitness site has gotten some very good comments/etc. for me.

I'm VERY new to videos and so far, have made them with powerpoint/windows movie maker. The next step is actually putting ME in the videos. My preference is to read copy instead; I'm so used to infomercials online that videos really have zero impact on me.

Apparently, however, I'm WAY in the minority. Way way WAY. So I'm teaching myself this mode of communication.

Best of success with your videos!
