Question about T shirt sales

I've been trying to find some information on how people's t shirt sales vary throughout the year. Obviously, t shirt sales increase around Christmas and also when the northern hemisphere summer begins. I can't seem to find any statistics or discussion or graphs on the increases and decreases experienced by other sellers.

Are we currently in a slow period between summer and Christmas?

What are your experiences? What is the slowest time of year?

    Why?

No, I would say t-shirt sales are probably pretty consistent throughout the year; excluding christmas season when a large number of people are buying them as presents. This is the second time in the last week or so I've seen a thread about selling t-shirts or sweatshirts due to the weather... Am I the only one that wears a t-shirt 365 days a year?? Yes, I even wear them under sweatshirts!

I'm asking because I've been selling through redbubble and they recently changed their t shirt display from cartoon to real life t shirt pictures. I've been wondering what the extent is to which this will initially reduce sales, as I'm guessing the images which have worked their way up Google image search results will now vanish. I guess it will take time for redbubble to work its way back up the image searches. I know it will be a benefit in the long run obviously. I guess I was wondering whether this is having minimal impact and sales are slow because the weather is getting colder for 90% of the world's population, and they may be spending more on jackets etc.

Also, whenever the weather warms up, I start to realize any deficiencies in my t shirt collection, making me buy t shirts. In cooler months they're covered, so there's less need to stay on top of your t shirt selection. No need to respond with a smart ass critical attitude.

Lol. I was really looking forward to helping on this one since I developed and ran a successful clothing line for a couple years and still dabble in the t-shirt design and screen print in my free time. But, I don't want to offend you with my smart ass critical attitude again. So, good luck, boss.

No, I would say shirt deals are most likely really reliable consistently; barring christmas season when countless are purchasing them as presents. This is the second time in the most recent week or something like that I've seen a string about offering shirts or sweatshirts because of the climate... Am I the stand out that wears a shirt 365 days a year?? Yes, I even wear them under sweatshirts!

As I think there are very less festivals between Christmas and Summer and that's why selling of T-shirts decries.

I have been in tshirts sales since 2002. We've evolved several times with different finishes and the manner in which we sell but to be honest- January, February & March are my complete slowest times. The best and busiest time of year is football season. In August we increase 100x what we normally sell because everyone is going back to school and youth, college and professional sports are starting up. I was searching this topic as well to see what's trending in my slow months so we could advertise more of that to boost our sales.

I would think that sports championships are the BEST time for T-shirt sales. Probably far greater than Christmas. For example, I'm in Chicago, and the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last year. There must have been close to a million T-shirt sales here.
