I wondering that the successful IMers are having some kind of solid business plan and they just follow it by twisting a little bit here and there.

I mean I want to know are successful people following some steps are success comes by luck only.

I am basically a programmer but need to improve a lot to become a Internet marketing to sale some kind of product on automated machine and collecting money.

Man, if you are a programmer and if you happen to even be a GOOD one... you already have such a huge advantage in this IM niche!

You can team up with someone to create the next latest & greatest software or plugin, and then team up with someone else who can package it up with a sales funnel and handle the launch / promotion and there you go.

Focus on what YOU know, then work on JV'ing with other's who have the other skills you need to come up with a successful launch.

This is only an idea of course, maybe you don't want to launch your own products, I don't know. But if you do, and if you can make your own you have such a huge advantage.

You are just a genius man, your suggestions are top of the world. I love it. I think also I am bad at socializing, I dont know how to ask people or IMers about the JVs etc. Any good suggestion will be helpful.

    hi
you are absolutely an advantage, in addition to finding new channels, you want to suggest essential foundations that helped me to start the 'IM. learn to identify the types of traffic, analyze and define your target audience and your potential competition, realize how and why to use social medium for concrete results.
    good luck

Things can definitely be automated. But in the long run it cannot be just "totally" automated. As a business owner, you always need to be on top of things and manage your automation.

I would do some research and study up on Email Marketing as well as affiliate Marketing and Product Creation. (Use Search here)

As one person has said you have a really great combo going for you i.e. you are a programmer with technical abilities and you seem to have some Marketing abilities or at least you are open to learning to have some

Thats a good thing. A very good thing

  • A business without a plan won't be in business long. On- or offline. You don't have to have ALL the details figured out, but you have to know where you going so you can also figure out how to get there.

And yes, being flexible is a requirement. You *will* have to make changes to your buesiness plan now and again.

Btw, before I went into IM full-time, I was a programmer, as well. It has its advantages, for sure.

      Thanks Bradly,

You are exactly on target what I am looking for in this thread. I ask this question because I make lot of plannings all the time for myself too keep working towards marketing but I always turn back to the programming which is my strong passion and earn good $$$$ from it. But of course not regularly.

My specialty in the programming is that I mostly get jobs to fix the existing script problems etc. That it lot of time as you also a programmer. That is why I am more and more curious to take care the marketing part and sell other people products or something.

    Warriors For Hire

Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You

    Warrior Joint Ventures

    ================

Above are the various sections of this forum you can look for JV's to join in on.. and where you can offer your services for hire... and where you can look for people who are already seeking someone to hire.

I'd say keep an eye on these, check them a few times a day to see if someone posts something that is suited to you and your skills. It could take a day, it could take a week, but eventually someone will post something that you can help them with (paid work preferably) unless it's a JV where you and your partner will split profits and stuff like that.

You can also post your own offers and see if anyone wants to hire you.

    Now...
as for the socializing aspect, I'd say this.

If you have a portfolio of your work, show it off.
Letting people see your work and what you can do is a major way to help impress to entice them to work with you.

I'd just be honest also. Say that your english isn't very good but you can communicate effectively and your programming skills speak for themself. This assumes you are at least a decent developer, of course.

This is all just an idea to get you started. After a while you can branch out and do other things. One of the easiest ways to get started is by offering your skills up for service. Doing work for pay. Once you have money coming in you can use it to do bigger things.

To begin with there is a lot of trial and error. Every niche and business has different needs and you have to try and find the best place to reach your target audience to generate sales/leads. For marketing yourself, set up an attractive, responsive site to act as your portfolio as you advertise your services on different selling platforms that will gather customers for you. It will be a grind at first, but once you get going, you can start to refer people back to your own site and name your own rates.

Setting up an attractive, responsive site to act portfolio and use different selling platforms. Is really excellent idea. This is really helping in to change my perspective to move to into IM arena.

      Thanks Jogunn for your advice

    Hey there,

    Yes! I do!

    -Pick a niche

-Build free products to entice people to join your list

    -Create a "winning" followup series

    -Create a squeeze page

-Drive traffic to the squeeze page (forum marketing, solo ads)

-Once they end your followup series automatically have them transferred to a newsletter about your niche

-Once you've built up your newsletter create a social media page (This gets your list to become a community under your umbrella)

-Once both are built up I ask them what is their biggest problem in that niche?

-Find a way to solve that problem

    -Build a product

    -Launch it!

-Use money I made from launch to create a rebilling product (usually a membership site) so it steadies out my cashflow.

That's it! It's pretty basic, but works well for me!

    Hope that helps
