Best Free Traffic Source For A Betting Tips Site?

I started a sports betting tips site 2 months ago and have been using twitter to promote it, has anyone else found a more effective way to gain traffic to a betting related site?

    Turn it into a membership site.

    Go to other betting websites and recruit them as affiliates to push your product.

      I completely agree with this, that niche is rough.

    if you are giving betting tips you should use youtube. Create videos related to betting tips/strategies and put link to your page. When people look for strategies and tips they go to youtube. Free target traffic.

      Its very simple really . . . Online Marketing 101!

      The very best source of traffic for a betting tips site is this:

      Put your offer in front of those prospects that are very focused and specifically interested in whatever it is that you offer. The venue of the traffic isn't so important . . . but the interests of the people you're trying to attract are critical. So I'm telling you to put your offer in front of just those people that will want what you have to offer! For all others, your marketing will fall on deaf ears.

      It's the way profitable online marketing is always done!

    Find big betting website forums
    where people discuss on where
    they are going to bet and you
    can communicate and give them
    value and your tips...

    There is periscope new to the market
    going wild, live broadcasting and build
    your followers on there and show them
    what you would do or give advice and tips...

    Social media - get involved in groups/pages and start putting out attractive graphics.

      Are you for real? There are TEN THOUSAND betting shops in the UK.

      Simply get yourself a load of wisely worded business cards or small flyers made up (which costs next to nothing) and get yourself - and family and friends or other helpers, to discretely place them in the toilets of the shops. You'll have a huge captive, targeted audience, and a constant stream of traffic. Sure, cleaners will trash them at the end of the day, but you simply replace them.

      You can even have them coded and offer discounts on your service where the code is used to sign up . . . and of course the person who placed the card/leaflet for you would get a commission.

      You've also got plenty other places where gamblers congregate. Casinos, amusement arcades, fruit machine sections in pubs, sports stadiums, etc, etc. There are loads more ideas I could give you, both offline and online.

      Sometimes you just got to look at the bleedin' obvious.

    Get your funnel working profitably first and then forget free traffic.

    Test and tweak using paid traffic and then scale up massively using paid traffic as well.

    If each new member is worth say $50 a month to you and it costs you a one time $49 (say) in paid traffic to get that new member in the first place. Then buy as much traffic as you can get your hands on! Especially as each new member is likely to stay for more than just the one month (if your service is good).

    It's not about cost, it's all about ROI (return on investment).
