Adult traffic & Casino Offers

Hi there,

I'm playing around a lot at the moment with different projects...

I had the thought about promoting Casino/Poker CPA offers on Adult/Porn traffic.

Does anyone have experience with that one?

I mean, people which watch porn etc. tend to be a little bit addictive (as many psychologic case - studies have shown in the past...). So maybe there is a possibility to monetize these type of traffic with Casino/Poker CPA offers.

What do you guys think about that?

    The Basic concept about SEO/Marketing is to promote anything to the related niche. In any site promotion need to use Related other sites.

    The idea of "Free" is the best business model to date I can think of. Google youtube are the biggest examples and pornhub has been taking over the porn industry as it generates a large traffic. so much so that news and yes even politic are making mention to using it. I think their was a news story that pronhub was used to find out demographic data for general elections. Something to think about. But if your going to do anything at all, look at ways you can create a buzz. watch the movie the people vs larry flynt and look up the howard stern movie. As for las vegas if you call a strip club they will send you a limo for free and if you pay the driver like 20 $$ you can get in for free yet when your their you spend out the arse. The idea is to make people "Feel" like they are getting a deal. and the porn industry is all about "feeling" something.

      IMO, you should stay as far away from porn and gambling as you can. Being in those markets you will be seen as part of the dark underbelly of the Internet. There are still many sites and search engines that will blacklist your efforts.

      Look for ways to help people . . . to provide value to their lives. Porn is degrading to both women and men, a real plague on society. It is harming children, as well, because many can access "adult" content and it can negatively affect their young lives.

      Pick something that will enrich and strengthen people rather than the opposite.

    You need to find networks with competitive rates and option to monetize traffic per carrier and operating systems. So, probably good to start with networks such as: ExoClick, TrafficJunky, Reacheffect, Adultmoda.

    There is no way to give a definite answer to this...

    You need to experiment and find out for yourself.

    That being said, it's extremely difficult to make sales
    on adult sites.

    You will burn through a ton of money testing offers, and
    most stuff doesn't convert very well.

    Also, I agree with the addictiveness factor, but remember
    people on those sites are after one thing...

    (Which is why the "Bang someone in 3 minutes" dating
    offers seem to work the best)

    I've been promoting CPA offers for over 15 years and I never had a lot of luck with casino offers.

    I would expect that you will need to test and optimize a lot. I wouldn't expect to just run ads and turn a profit. I suspect that it is probably one of the harder ways to make money, but someone may correct me.

    If your just kicking around idea's, take a look into PPL (pay per lead) offers. It's what I heavily promote. The reason being is that there is no credit card required, all a user has to do is fill out a form to get paid (no sale needed). There are many offers that pay as much as regular cpa offers and the verticals are large, so the potential to produce high volume exists.

    Be prepared that your conversion rate will be really, really low meaning you will need to spend on large volume of traffic to start seeing results.
    I have worked in the gaming industry for a couple of years and I saw some operators trying adult ad networks. It's far from the best source of customers.
    Adult audience who actually pay for porn memberships can convert well to gamblers otherwise the majority of "free tube" visitors are not going to give you too much affiliate revenue.

    There is a lot of traffic that you can siphon from adult or porn site but if you want to make money from this type of traffic I suggest you use CPA offers that are closely related to the porn sites like dating offers, relationships etc.

    For those that say Adult is a dirty underbelly of the internet, let me remind you that is where affiliate programs started. Want a good SEO guy, sure, but if you want a great one, get one that has worked in Adult. The only thing different from working in adult to anything else is the parties tend to be more fun.
    I've been a webmaster working for Playboy and currently work for a philanthropic organization as an affiliate manager. There are a lot of people that started in Adult and went on to what they call Mainstream. Please remember that people that watch porn are people, they spend money too. As far as putting gambling with porn, they are both vices!
