The issue with Pretty Links Pro is that it's extremely expensive for something that can be done with a php script and mod_rewrite for free and it's only a few lines of code. (Developer edition is 97$, I run a bunch of sites and don't like to cheat developers.) I wanted the links to have a domain I owned in them in case people wanted to go back to my site, they could edit the link, plus some people think the URL shorten-er services are shady. After doing it that way for awhile I kind of realized I was wasting massive time screwing around with scripts and just paid for it. You technically don't need the pro version to do it though, but you get the ability to add a tracking pixel. Which is pretty useful for a bunch of stuff.

Anytime you have a link without an anchor text, you want it to look as appealing as possible. For example ht_tp://www.business-guru.com/best-guide-to-internet-marketing-2015 is WAY more visually appealing than http://bit.ly/1M5ImjT

Heck even with an anchor text, some people will look at the link URL they are actually clicking on and if it looks like something crazy they might not click on it.

Of course there are Internet Marketers making 10 grand a day and more from their web sites, many of whom started at the kitchen table.

Just look at sites like bigfishgames.com. That was a kitchen table start-up; Paul started by himself, acquired partners, eventually sold it for a pretty big buck. Now it's even bigger than when it was sold a coupla' years ago. There are plenty of stories like that all over the 'net.

I'm not interested in that kind of money anymore, but what the hey - if it happens because I pick the right niches and right JV's, what the hell. You won't see me complain.

Hmm. I thought the objective was to use email campaigns on opt-ins, not spam the stuff. My mailbox is loaded with terrific emails because I carefully opt-in to warriors and others I really want to hear from. And I buy select products from them because I like what they are telling me. I've learned TONS of useful information I'm putting to good use.

Yes, I think you are right!

Just contacting the blogs in niches, is good. Some are open to that.

What you really have to do is find out exactly who your target audience is.

I mean, you could be after a pregnant lady, who wants to do yoga. You see that is specific and they hang out on various place, and that is where you want to be.

On the other hand, you might be targeting single male 50 year old, that has a poodle. :-)

My point is, know your customer, do not guess, go to forum, and see what they talk about and see what drives them and their curiosity. That will help with your ads, headlines, and getting them into your funnel.

Its not about guess, you have to be very good at knowing your target marketing. I think frank kern did a video about CORE INFLUENCE 5 years ago, to get in their head, and know them, as it will help with empathy and understanding them. But when it comes to testing, you will alot better results.

You see too many times, marketers just guess what their prospects want and fail. You need to know what they want, what they talk about, and where they hang out. Go there, and find out everything about them, right down to that freckle on their butt. LOL. I think you get my point.

Not only does this make your testing cycle cheaper. It gives you better results and higher ROI the other end.

Even with PPC it will make your CPC cheaper and your CTR even higher. So you can literally SPEND LESS - get more optins, and then once they are in your funnel, because you know them now, you are able to give more content, and be more in tune with what they want.

My guess is do not think about how can I make $10,000 a day online, think about how can I get to know my prospect better, and how can I give and CREATE VALUE once you know them, if you do that, you can make alot more than $10,000 a day online.

Once I realised this, stop focusing on the money, my whole life and businesses changed, it literally skyrocketed.
