I am a Graphic designer and decided to start my carrier with fiverr but very confused where I will promote my service. I have very little idea on Marketing.

Anyone here to help me about Marketing tips on Fiverr ?

      Hey David ,about your question I think that Jammy gave you the right answer all I wanted to say was that like mario said you got to be patient.I myself have a business on fiverr and let me tell you that without investing money in promoting my gigs I still got in the first month like 5 messages asking me if I can or can't make something.The second month even better .What you have to do is to make sure you take advantage of the gig space fiverr gives you (7 gigs at first) and also optimize your gig title, not something like "I will do a graphic design for 5 $" but more like I will do an attractive and original graphic design for 5 $ ,just something to think about

        I want to start by saying that I wouldn't recommend using fake accounts to buy your own gig, but I understand the idea behind it.

        You need to prime the pump so to speak. If someone is searching for graphic design services they are more likely to go with someone who has some sales and some positive reviews vs. the guy who has zero sales and zero reviews.

        Again, I would not prime the pump by using fake accounts. I would either run some paid advertising or post in niche forums that allow a signature link. Maybe even contact people and offer them a free service if they will leave an honest review.

    Here are a few Fiverr tips:

    -Using a talking head video of yourself to sell people on buying your gig
    -Write descriptive titles and descriptions
    -Use keywords and tags
    -Send fake hits/visitors to your Fiverr gig
    -Create a few dummy accounts so you can leave a few positive reviews

    Not a Fiverr Marketing tip but you should also try out 99designs.com. They seem to pay better but you have to win the design contest.

    Alot of times you will get traffic directly from Fiverr users. But for added exposure, consider paid advertising, and marketing in places where your targeted audience will most likely be at (blogs, forums, youtube, google/yahoo/bing, etc.). And if you can offer a money back guarantee on your gigs, this will increase your sales too.

    on fiverr.

    Follow them how they
    are promoting their service
    and offers.

    You must create gigs with

      Recently, I had to use 3 graphics people for the same thing...the first 2 did NOT follow directions, which were simple. In their haste to deliver, they sacrificed quality.

      Do ONE good job, and ask for referrals. I'd love to find one decent graphics person of fiverr.

      So, start with ONE great gig.

    1st You have to know.. earning money from fiverr is not easy as people say.

    It would be good to focus on a specific style you are strong in and showcase that as your "niche" as much as possible. Having a some sort of specialization will help you stand out against all the other designers out there on the market.

    Start by optimizing your gig:
    As someone mentioned, use video to sell your gig and make sure you add plenty of examples of your design.

    Also have a look at other established Fiverr gigs in your niche and model their copy and offers

    Then offer some free gigs in exchange for a review to get your orders and reviews up. Simply contact people and have them order you gig. Then send them back the money on PayPal.

    To get some fast results and new customers daily, I would go with paid ads like pay per click. This is a sure fire way to get people who are interested in your offer.

    You can also create a classified ad here in the forum letting others know about your service.

    Since you are a graphic designer It would benefit you by being able to create fast one off graphics to your customers. I using a template and adding messages to the images. I would also make a great offer with your gig title like "Graphics done today!"

    Great tips here. I am also on fiverr. There is not so much need for marketing your gig as many order just come from visitors looking for services on the platform.
    All you need to do, make sure you have a great description for your gig, you can share your gig profile on social media groups, including fiverr social media group. and other forums.
