Let's imagine a scenario in which everything but your computer, home and $100 USD is taken from you... You decided to go from zero and build your income online again. What would be your plan? What would you do in terms od picking a specific way of making money online again? Besides crying yourself to sleep first...

I'm interested in to hearing what you would do in this case...

The $100 is irrelevant, expect perhaps for hosting. It's not necessary, though--the $100 or hosting.

Find a hungry market, get close to it, learn and understand it, and sell a solution to a problem it has.

With some brain power you can do this in 2 or 3 days.

You can change the problem/solution later, but there's always something easy to start with.

    Take forum marketing.

You can likely find a forum in your area of interest.

What are the members complaining about? What do they struggle with? How can you help them?

You don't even need hosting to help them.

Post great answers and they'll ask you for help. You don't need a website to collect payments and deliver solutions.

The key is in Getting Started, not sitting around as so many do hoping to find the map to El Dorado.

Hopefully if you have been a resourceful human being you have built up a network of connections i.e. friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances etc... who can truly help you out in dire circumstances like this to get back on your feet

This happened to me, well almost. 15 years ago.

All I had left was my PC, a sofa, a TV and my 14-year-old car (Value 100$).
The first thing I did was getting a job, to put the TV on a table.

So my advice is, when you have just that, GET A JOB.

I'd get a job, head down to the library to use free internet and start a blog for $3 spend the rest on a tent to tide me over till my job earns enough to rent while building my business from the library. Eventually I would get a PC and work up to an income online.
Alternatively buy a gun and rob a hard working shopkeeper and jump right into launching an ecourse and blog.

You can work as a freelancer. Nowadays there are many freelancing site, you can register to anyone at free of cost. The top level site is Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr. Then start working there. You may get a good job. After earning some money, you will be able get back on the IM section, if you wish. Thanks a lot.

    What would I do with a 100$ and a computer...let's see.

I would find a niche market with sufficient active users
I would target a specific problem within that niche and try to solve it. (being familiar with the niche would be a plus, but is not necessary)
I would create some kind of informational product to help solve the problem I identify.
I would then build a list and try providing value to that list in exchange for their money.
    That's what I would do.

    Hope that helps

Well, if the question is how to start an IM business with $100, here's the answer we've all familiar with....

    1. Buy a domain and hosting
    2. Get an autoresponder account
    3. Create a squeeze page
    4. Find a product on clickbank
    5. Spend the rest on paid traffic
    6. Resist starving to death for the next couple of months till you get results.

I would just go to the bank and withdrawal my gold. Then use the $100 to get to a coin/jewellery store.

Sorry, $100 isn't enough to avoid getting a job. If you have $2-3k banked you might be able to restart an IM business, but if you don't have the previous experience of doing it then skipping the job is a bad idea. I made a post before about doing a $100 product launch, it's possible but you can't really expect to make a living that way. You would need 10+ domains and 10+ ebooks you were selling for $17, if you could sell 10 of each book a month yourself and have some affiliates, this might pull 2-3k a month. But you really need great products to make serious money and you need either money or a lot of time to do that.

I realize what you're asking here is really "What's the most efficient way to use $100?"

Domain, hosting, aweber, plr ebook with full copywrites, and $50 one time fee on clickbank.

    #1 Buy a PLR ebook
#2 Come up with a product name
#3 Register a great .com domain that's close to the product's name (or adjust the product name slightly)
#4 Get hosting and come up with a squeeze page
#5 Spend a massive amount of time rewriting and improving the ebook
#6 Create a free report that highlights the reason you should buy the product, make an opt-in form.
#7 Setup the second opt-in form on your domain
#8 Get the product setup on click bank
#9 Get some free web 2.0s and promote your product and the free report (you're out of money so you can't buy domains here.)
#10 utilize your social media accounts the best you can
#11 manage your 3 email lists on aweber (customers, affiliates, and the people who got the free report.)
    #12 search for affiliates

Honestly $250-$300 is much better budget and the quality level of these products won't be that great so don't expect to get rich off them.

But what you would really want to do is make a product and market it, then 2 weeks later create a new product in the same niche and then use all the emails to market to. Just repeat this and "waterfall" all the business assets you've built up to launch a new product every 2 weeks. So your budget here would be $150 a week + massive time put in on your part.
