How does one do market research to ensure success for the entertainment niche?

    How would market research be any different than any other product or service?

    1. Find where people are that are your target market for the product.
    2. Engage them in conversation
    3. Have your product/service show up where they are.

    For figuring out keywords, you'll need to figure out what problem your product solves and be found when they are searching for that problem.

    Without a little more information on the exact product or sub-niche there's not all that much more I could tell you. (Feel free to PM if you want to keep it off-forum.)

    I would put the order of events the other way around. Find a viable niche market first, then think about a suitable product.

    With this model, you'll need to think about the problems that people in your target niche HAVE and then go and find or create a product.

    I guess a good place to start would be to hang out on a few entertainment forums and see what is bugging people.
