Can anyone recommend a great online business coach-mentor?

I'd like to just hire someone who can skype with me once a week, or meet with me in Dallas, who can tell me how to get to where I want to go.
Any recommendations of someone who is good?

I keep changing my direction and I feel lost. I started a new venture and once again I am doubting it and I feel like I'm going down a rabbit hole, again. Im tired of the confusion and want to get someone good to help me.
thanks for any recommendations.

Try the search function. This is the umpteenth time this question has been asked and the responses don't change much.

Do you know where you want to go, because this will help a lot in
recommending someone who can help you get there.

The sites I made are blogging/ecommerce affiliate sites. Finding products from Amazon and writing reviews on them. I made one about tech gadgets (like a boing boing, engadget site) that I think has potential but I feel like Im doing the wrong things with it. Maybe focusing on the wrong sub-niche.
I just hired some writers to post to the site to test it out and Im worried Im spending too much money before knowing if it will work.

Someone told me a month ago about someone who is making a killing running a content marketing firm and I might be interested in switching gears in that direction.
See, I dont know the right path so I keep switching.

The shortest way to success is to find someone who is already doing what you
want to do and MODEL them. Not copy, but model. So do you know
who is doing successfully what you are trying now? Do they have an information
product they sell. Can you do some "spying" on their business. There are
a lot of tools to do traffic source spying, PPC campaigns spying etc.

And sometimes, you may be just experiencing "launching pain". Things
are always difficult from the start (ever see a rocket launch?) so you
may need to be patient before you see results, I can't tell.

How about joining a mastermind group? There are loads of these groups on Skype and they're free, you get together with a group of people weekly and discuss ideas and help each other. I see a lot of people in the SPI community talk about these groups and how great they are, might be worth checking out!

That is a great idea. Do you know where to find mastermind groups? Skype doesnt have chat rooms and i dont know where Pat Flynn hosts a forum or chat, other than the comments section of his blog.

I think a business partner or MM group would really focus me out. thanks so much

Let me know if you need any help with finding one of these groups!

Someone told me a month ago about someone who is making a killing running a content marketing firm and I might be interested in switching gears in that direction.
Remember that there are people making killing with all kinds of things. There's a guy mailing potatoes to random people and he's making more than $10,000 a month.

Yes, it's best to make a screed at a time.
There are many people who can help you but you should narrow the field .... you choose what you want to go forward with and what to abandon and to field all your resources to achieve success .... many people start their business with a lot of meat fire .... addresses a strategy and then moves on
    good luck

    Whoa there, ecomguy.

    1. Take a deep breath, hold, let it go slowly. Repeat.

    2. Grab a paper and a pencil

    3. Write your short term goal ( 6 months, a year) in as few words as possible. Whatever comes into your head. Keep it simple and attainable.

    4. Make a list of the sales methods with which you feel comfortable. Affiliate? Creating your product? Stand-alone sales pages? Doesn't matter which of the many systems you choose, Don't worry about the nay-sayers, they bash any system that is not the one they are using. Each marketer has their own comfort zone, just like every guy has his own lucky shirt. You can't wear some other fellow's lucky shirt, okay?

    5. Make a list of what you do not want to do to make Internet sales.

    6. Make a list of what you do want to do to make Internet sales.

    7. Make a list of terms, systems, whatever you find confusing, the challenges that are making your head spin.

    8. With all the above completed, make a list of the things that interest you the most. It can be knitting - Knitting for Men (fyi, only American men think knitting & crocheting is sissified). It can be Football: Done Right & Done Wrong. It can be 100 Recipes Using Sardines. Doesn't matter. You can get into niche'ing things you don't particularly like or care about once you have your particular how-to's firmly under belt.

NOW YOU ARE READY TO FIND A MENTOR. Use the WF search engine to find mentor threads, search the Warriors For Hire section located under the WSO banner.

I can only recommend a guy named Terry Dean. When i discovered him years ago, his information blew me away, and gave the me the foundation of how to get the ball rolling and starting seeing results. He had a million dollar site called "BizPromo", but i believe he sold it.

I think working with other people would make a world of difference for me
Some people do better as part of a team.

I don't do Skype. I like to think about my responses to peoples issues and long, time consuming emails are easily transferable to a FAQ section.

Finding a coach/mentor really depends on what niche or area of online marketing you are looking to get started with. I have no desire to get started in CPA Marketing....but if I was, I would search for someone who is a proven expert in that space and offers coaching/mentoring.

As well as the first recommendation I gave earlier in this Thread, I also must add another Warrior here, Eric Louviere.

Eric had a good Post the other week here. And in the past week I have gotten like 6 straight emails from him as Im on his List.

Really, really good emails. Solid information to take your business to the next level.

I would definitely feel comfortable in recommending Eric for a Coach. Not sure of his Cost but worth looking into.
