20,000 soccer vidoes to upload - One channel or more

Hi,

We're a football / soccer song website with real football songs from around the world.

- We have 20,000 real football audio songs that we have put into a video - one vodeo per song
- Songs are from 800 teams in 20 something languages
- The audio will play in the background with lyrics rotating, video in team colours and other basic design bits and pieces
- The video looks professional
- We'll tag and keyword appropriate to the team in question
- We're hoping to auto-upload the songs to the channel

Questions:
- Will it be OK to submit so many videos? I.E . Might Google see it as spamming? Every viodeo is a different song and looks prefessional
- Should we put everything under one channel and then make playlists for each team (there re 300 videos for some teams)?
- Should we do one channel per language. Or something else.
- I'm going to put them in the Music category, is there any advantages to this channel?

Sorry for the questions. Some advice would be greatfuly received as it's a massive project for us and we want to get it right.

    Before you upload your entire data base, you should
    split test which channel is better (MUSIC or SPORTS).

    Have you asked yourself HOW MANY DIFFERENT SONGS
    WOULD THE AVERAGE PERSON BE INTERESTED IN???

    If only 1 or 2, then your site will be loaded with content
    that is of little interest to most people.

    MAYBE you should segment your channels. MAYBE NOT??

    Figure out a way to test this out before you go completely
    in one direction or the other.

    Also, the language variety may prove to be a problem.

    Put up some kind of TEST SITE and then SURVEY your
    visitors to see what THEY WANT, then give it to them.

      Thanks very much for the reply. We've had a website ith the audio's up for years. Most people look at more than 25 songs, we've taken out the less popular songs and have 20,000 of 30,000 to go up.

      I read that catagories aren't that important these days but thought maybe music category might have more features that suit the playing of the songs - we're on Spotify and thus have put all the best songs in albums. Good idea to test.

      Segemnts, haven't read anything on those. I will investigate.

    Nope, Google will ban your account if you are uploading to youtube.

    Nope, put in separate accounts so 1 account ban don't get all videos down

      Hi Tim, thanks for the advice. What specificially do you think would be the reason that they would ban the account? I'll try and address it.

      Could you explain why they would ban the content if it has a different song in each vid, the tags and other meta data would be relevant - no spamming. It will be content that people will want to see/ listen to and the design is professional, albeit similar bar lyrics and titles for each video.

        It would be video spamming, Google will mark your account. Don't do this. Use multiple Youtube accounts instead.

      You def. should upload them to multiple accounts so if one gets banned you are not screwed and still have a few more accounts.

      You could make an account for each team and name them all the same like: TFS - TeamName | Top Football Songs
      But since you'd have over 300 of them that would not be practical.
      Maybe do a channel per league/country?

      You can have multiple channels with one google account which would make management for about 20 channels a bit easier, but I am not sure if you get banned on a channel or account level.
