Warrior Forum Banner Ads?

I was toying around with the idea of getting one of the Warrior Forum Banner Ads to attract affiliates.

Anyone have any experience with the banner ads?

And would it be a decent idea?

Thanks for your helps guys

Gavin

The WarriorForum is probably the best place to do it. just make sure you put time into the design, I don't find it attractive when people take a minute to make their ad in MS Paint...

Interestingly enough, I had several nicely designed banners, split tested with just red/blue/black text banners and the simple ones converted way better.

      Always good to test

The traffic from WF banners does tend to convert well for IM/AM related offers.

      Cheers,

      Reno

The only way to know for sure is to test.

Everything depends of how much you invest into right graphic designer. If you build something fresh, unique and attractive, then it's probably worth a try

Yes is very effective if you know what you are doing. I've tried it before and it really works. The trick is having a good high catching banner design and a good offer or irresistible sales funnel in place so as not to burn your money. But like my fellow warrior rightfully said you'll never know until you test the waters.

If i can afford to pay the banner ads then i would do that. I heard that when using the banner ads will boost your traffic/optin to your site.

Considering WF's huge reach, it might be a good move to use banner advertising IF...

You have split tested your banner before and are SURE it can get a nice CTR rate.

Also, you might want to put BRAND ELEMENTS into your banner (like the sociocaster banner that ran recently on WF).

This way, even if you don't get a click, you build FAMILIARITY.

This is important because you're laying the groundwork for further marketing.

Your brand won't seem as unknown as before.

Sure you can use the Banner Ads here on Warrior Forum. I've tried both the top banner ad, and the bottom banner ad. And honestly.... the top banner ad produced far better results for me.

AND... you could always pay the $60 to put an image in your signature. This works great for me too.

Not surprising to me really. Site loads up at the top to start, so people end up seeing the top ad first.

Unfortunately, the small banner ad allowed in sigs is too small.

Maybe Freelancer should have a TIERED sig banner advertising system.

Never underestimate the power of the sig, I have made a lot of money over the years from ads in my signature space. People do read them. One year my signature made enough I had to file a 1099 on just it. Over $5k from a business that was paying $100 for every affiliate I got that earned at least $100. That was 10 years ago.

the WF banner ads work - otherwise people wouldn't keep repeatedly buying banner ad space
    .

Make sure to understand your target demographic... WF'ers aren't just randoms who'll buy anything, there are thousands of WSOs on this very website that compete with your ad.

  • Keep in mind I the the WF banner ad has 12 or 13 slots. This means your ad will only be seen by 1 out of 12 or 13 visitors. At around $700 a month, imho, is not a good deal with a click thru rate avg around .05%..

It surely work! If not people won't be paying over and over again for it. Make sure you create a targeted ads to target people. For example, if you are putting a banner on Warriorforum. Make sure you put something related to IM. Like affiliate marketing, PPC courses etc.

I'm working on a budget right now for a big push in a couple weeks. WF is top of my list because it's a forum that's engaging with a very large membership.
