New to WF - New to Online Marketing - Direction Needed

Howdee all,

As stated in the subject I'm totally new to marketing and after purchasing a few packages through JVZoo I came across this site through a post I was reading.
A little about me:
I work in technology as a Sr. Systems Engineer. In addition I do technical consulting on the side. During my travels I've taught myself WordPress and have been able to build a tiny client base. As I continue to enhance and integrate web building skills ideas have formed which have led to me building a few of my own networking platforms that I think, if marketed right, can yield me some financial success.
So I'm not a marketer and in all honesty have stay away from it on purpose as time just hasn't presented a need to become involved, until now. So for the last few weeks I've been trying to figure out the "process" but haven't been successful as most of what I've read appears to be written by marketers for marketers. Although this works for some, it doesn't work for me. Frustrated I'm now motivated to document the process for both myself and my intended audiences who will also not have a clue of this process.

So what I need is direction on what steps I should take to integrate an internet marketing campaign. For instance I purchased package containing 50 PLR niches. On one of my projects users will be able to log in to one of my niche networks and obtain a blog. On this blog they're able to target content to that niche based audience.
What I don't understand is what to do with the PLR. Say I have a PLR for the niche that the user obtains a blog on. Do I list that PLR as a banner ad for the user to purchase or do I use it as a way to get users to join that particular network?

I don't have an email list and would rather use Periscope and/or Twitter to send out news posts containing ads which will aid in getting users to subscribe. I have MailChimp that I'm using to get started so I'm not sure if I still need something like aweber.

I have WordPress that I'm using but at what point do I need a page like this:

Membership — PLR Sales Funnels

I get that I can create a blog post containing a link or image to a package created in the Woocommerce store on my site. So would that suffice or would I have to sell my products on external sites like JVZoo?

In other words my process if out of order and it's forcing me to make this more complicated than it needs to be. This one project has a lot of moving pieces and I think it's imperative that I establish a documented process otherwise I'll always feel like I'm missing "something". So would anyone be willing to share the steps they feel are needed to basically launch a successful self-hosted internet marketing campaign? Apologies in advance if this has been asked or if I'm breaking some unspoken rule about what and what not to ask for as that's not my intent.

Any links or responses.

All as my intended audience may, or may not, be fully vested / knowledgeable in blogging. So the goal is to surround them with various tools and services which will aid in their progression.

Say I bought a PLR for Twitter recently which contains videos, training guides, etc. Not sure if I should use it as reference, re-write the content, and then post it as my own training. I'm not really a fan or simply slapping my name and calling it my own but not really sure.

So create your own product and call it your own.

So let me get this straight. You want to host a blogging network? And will you be charging for access to use the network?

So I'm not a marketer and in all honesty have stay away from it on purpose as time just hasn't presented a need to become involved, until now. Depends, I'm unclear of where you want to monetize what you are doing.

Unclear of what kind of PLR you are talking about - is it MMO plr or regular niche PLR?

I don't have an email list and would rather use Periscope and/or Twitter to send out news posts containing ads which will aid in getting users to subscribe. I have MailChimp that I'm using to get started so I'm not sure if I still need something like aweber.
Aweber is more professional IMO and can be used to segment and do all kinds of crazy things on the back end. They give you a free month to just "play" and you can always export your list from them. You just can't easily import a list to them.

I have WordPress that I'm using but at what point do I need a page like this:

I'm still unclear of your sales funnel which would determine a lot of the answers for you.
Can you explain from your potential customers point of view how they would find you and what is the general offer on the landing page they get to?

In other words my process if out of order and it's forcing me to make this more complicated than it needs to be. You can offer them some free plr for their registration to your network as an incentive, and give it to them with resell rights, then sell them more plr soon after they sign up. You can also use some of the plr for training those who are new to blogging, and use those courses as an incentive to register and obtain a blog as well.

So, in other words, according to what license rights you have with the plr, mix it up as to what you do with it to both attract new registrants and to sell it to those who register.

The Search function is always a good place to start and people will respect your use of it, though do keep in mind that some information changes over time.

Not so much the fundamentals, yet the strategies do.

Never be afraid to ask, you are as much a part of this community than anyone else.

Your post comes across as confusing and therefore, I can't imagine how confused your mind might be right now.

It seems you have followed the path we all started on and have been consuming knowledge everywhere, yet not organising it into a logical progression.

Imagine stuffing every business article you find into a notebook and then trying to figure out which one to read first.

From what I can gather, you understand the tech side, yet are not sure of the business aspect or Marketing.

Marketing often comes across as a form of promotion, which is exactly what it is for large companies selling a product or service. It's the process of telling the world about the product.

However, in Internet business, a more optimal strategy is to build a tribe around a website and unite the group on social and an email list.

Marketing becomes the process of developing and maintaining relationships.

You can sell products later on.

Of course, marketing also extends to traditional advertising for Internet businesses also, though that is after you develop and start selling a product.

In a way, I'm marketing to you indirectly right now. I'm reaching out and trying to help you. By simply creating a connection, you are becoming aware of my brand. Thus, Marketing.

Provide value and the rest will take care of itself.
