Need Wordpress experts here!

Hi guys, need some Wordpress experts here.

First, my requirements:

I am revamping a website for my Business Networking group and I want to make the website more robust, not static.

As such, Wordpress is the best solution so far.

This site features:
1) Each member of my group have an individual login where they can edit their own "About Me" page

2) There will be a super-user (not admin) who can edit the links, post blogposts in website

3) Each member (including the super-user) will be able to use mass-mail each other by using a mass-mail function

I believe that (3) requires a plug-in, (1) and (2) should be easy right?


Or is there a better software than Wordpress that can serve my purpose?

    1. individual login - yes, out of the box; "about me" page - it is possible, based on their user profile, you might need to create specific author template(s)

    2. WP already has different user levels built-in; if the Role Manager plugin has been updated to the latest WP version, you have even more options to play with

    3. I know of one "mass mail" plugin, although not sure if it allows members to email each other (worth checking)
