Let's say you created a good piece of content. How do you decide how to use it?

It can be used as web page content

A special report as optin "bait"

A PDF to distribute to the various ebook sites

Something else?

You should write your content with a purpose in mind. Typically, blog posts are in the 1000-3000 word range, while eBooks are much larger, value-packed pieces.

Regarding lead magnets, these are typically content pieces that aligns with an existing post. You deliver the goods in the blog post and then provide a bonus as an opt-in.

Depends on the content and it depends on the target audience and what kind of objectives you have for the product or service.

They post the content that we did for them in their site networks. They include our affiliate links for the banners and text links in those content pages. We drive traffic to those pages at no cost for them. They get more traffic, more sales. We get monthly content development service contracts and affiliate commissions ...

I publish as an ebook and offer it as 'pay-what-you-want' pricing. It's inspired by the book Sacred Economics. There are some interesting case studies on it and so far it's working out ok for me.
