Paypal Experience and Protection

I understand that paypal does not provide protection for the purchase of digital goods.

However i still hear many instances (online) that people have successfully had their purchases refunded back. How is that possible?

I am in the process of purchasing digital goods with seller guarantees on their website clearly stated. however paypal does not deal with digital goods refunds so how good is the guarantee by the seller?

The seller also makes use of 2co together with paypal. any effects of it on paypal?

    PayPal does deal with digital good refunds. If the digital product you receive is not delivered as described, you can request a refund through PayPal, and then go through a long boring process between you and the seller (on PayPal) to determine if you should get your money back or not.

    People can abuse this system by requesting refunds on items that were delivered fine, by making up some random BS that PayPal will believe.

    If I am a paypal seller for e.g, how will i be able to prove that item has been already delivered to the buyer?

    I'm pretty certain that if a money back guarantee is stated and PayPal was your payment method, they will be happy to help you. Generally, they process the case through their resolution center and if the seller does not reply with a fair reason, they will process the refund.

    If you use a digital delivery platform, they should be able to protect you with receipts and transaction details.

    JVZOO is popular and I would recommend looking at Sellfy, they are relatively new and I love the experience they are currently providing.

    I think you are not right. There are some slightly different. If you purchase any guarantied products & after buying the goods, you see there are not exactly what the seller stated on the sales page. In this case you can make dispute/ refund request. I think sure the Paypal will help you to get refund the money. Thanks a lot for your advance.
