mycitystateRealEstate.com is available.

Google keyword planner says that My City State Real Estate is searched on 480 times a month.

I was thinking about starting a local listing directory. Sell ad space to realtors, home inspectors, handy men etc.

Is 480 visitors a month enough to sell any ads at all?

If I bought the exact match domain I should have a good placement on google for that phrase right?

Or, if you had that domain, what would you do with it?

Google says suggested bid $3.05? Is that the ad sense price?. That's $1500 a month at 480 clicks.

If I were you, I'd go for it. You have to remember that, even though you're targeting one specific keyword, you'll probably get ranked for a lot of similar one's, too (depending on the competition and if you do things right). If the suggested bidding price is that high, I'm betting that keyword converts well. When you do a Google search, do you see a lot of paid ads?

      Hi Joey,

I see plenty of ads but nothing with that exact phase.

There are many benefits associated with buying an exact-match domain name, but the top three reasons for owning an exact-match domain are:
    (1) They are in limited supply (2)They receive type-in traffic (3)They have immediate recognition by users as being authoritative

the exact match domains aren't really as effective as it is used to be.

Google has to take a cut on that to hard to say what you'd get.

True. And it's not like it would just rank itself just because the keywords are in the domain. There was a time when you could take that and stick it into a wp cms and rank it in a day.

He/she would still need to SEO the site. But it is probably safe to say it is a "memorable" name once someone has been there.

It should be fairly cut and dry to check out the current competition and decide how much work will be required to move up in the ranks.
