Is cloaking still that important?
Usually, the only people you need to cloak from are other affiliates. The general public doesn't really know what an affiliate link is. Another affiliate will read your review/ad then go get their own link anyway.
I go back and forth. Sometimes I cloak, sometimes I don't. I don't see any difference in my results.

Sorry I guess I should have included that. Yes it does work I have used it for several links and just figured it was a fast and easy way to cloak links. However it does not offer tracking.

Hi Guys,

If your going to host your own cloaked affiliate
links you are better off using a free tool that I
had made.

Click-2-Cloak

It will cloak your link, turn it into a .php page and
even upload it for you all in one hit. You get the
new link on the "Thank-You" page. And it is also
emailed to you.

I had it made for my own purposes...but decided
to make it free to the public.

Nothing is stored...its just a simple online tool.

Take Care,

Michael Silvester

I personally like a cloaker that has stats with it as well. One tool one site, like Super Rotator.

Link cloaking is very important, for one main reason , to make affiliate links look more pleasing to the eye, and to create better conversion rates.

But i wouldn't trust third party link cloakers, i have heard of people loosing money, and sales.
would you trust your valuable affiliate link code in another parties hands?.

The best way to cloak your links is by doing it yourself using a php redirect code.

This is true. So true. Especially for this reason I developed my own software which simply creates index.php files in different folders. Few ears ago I bought a redirection software and didn't know that there was a backdoor. I lost all my data and never trust again "super-magic" scripts. More easy and clear structure the more trustful it is.
