Does anyone know where I can get a business phone number?

I went through google voice and no where it lets me choose my number or even view what my current number is. It gives me no options to view, edit , choose a google voice number.

Iv attached a pic file of what i see on my google voice account, hopefully its accessible.

So that's my luck with google voice, can someone help me out?

If not is there an alternate place to get a business phone number for free and is reliable?

    Skype can do and you can choose the country number I think.

    Good for non-US working with US companies.

      I was hoping for something free to use in Canada and USA.

      What happened to google voice did they change their rules or something?

      Are we no longer allowed to choose a google voice number which can be used to forward calls to my primary phone number?

    Few years ago I heard about this company: Grasshopper Virtual Phone System | Manage Your Calls Online . Never used them but they were insistent in advertising.

    I used the services from Free cell phone service from Scratch Wireless. . It is a sprint company that for $99 gives you a real phone with a real US number. You need wi-fi connection and you can call US for free. If you're outside US, you will have no signal outside wi-fi, and you cannot call outside US.

    Hostgator has a free 800 number when you purchase their Business Hosting Plan for $15 per month.

    I actually have a 'business plan' with Hostgator, and need to find out 'how to' activate the 1-800- number so I can pre-record a message.

    Don't skimp on a *real* business with cheap, low rate, free providers - especially when it comes to dealing with business on the phone with real suppliers or clients.
