Has anyone succeeded finding business with Linkedin?

I'm trying to find a way to generate B2B leads using LinkedIn, and finding it like pushing a boulder uphill. Can anyone help / point me to a source of information?

    I think I'll let Neil Patel's post dedicated to B2B Linkedin Lead Generation help you out here:

    We've been using LinkedIn for more than 3 years to great success for generating leads and closing those leads into long term contracts for our service sales campaigns. For example: Because of the things that we've been doing in LinkedIn -- Just last month, we closed a revenue share contract with a media buying company for our multilingual call center services, and we're averaging $1K per day gross sales across the past 3-week period for just this partner ...

    I'll tell you what we've been doing in LinkedIn that so far, for just this year alone, has been producing excellent RoI for us:

    1. LinkedIn Groups -- We're actively participating in LinkedIn groups where our target B2B audience hangs out;

    2. LinkedIn InMails -- We send InMails to the members of those LinkedIn groups who show some intrest in our services, pieces of advice and content that we share in those LinkedIn groups;

    3. LinkedIn Sponsored Updates & PPC Ad Campaigns -- We do this mainly for "top of mind" brand recognition. Many of the members of the LinkedIn groups where we actively participate in see these sponsored updates and ads, so we become a familiar anme to them when they see our regular contributions in those LinkedIn groups and the InMails that we may send to them; and

    4. Press Marketing -- We try to get authority media coverage for what we're doing, such as the BBC News interview that I was in 2 weeks ago. We then share these published media materials as sponsored updates in LinkedIn (among other social networks), and also in the LinkedIn groups that we participate in (among other social network groups). This of course builds up our authority in the eyes of our target audiences ...

    Hope this helps. Cheers!

    It has it's place. I personally can't stand Linkedin. Nothing but spam in my inbox there.

    Make sure you representing yourself well. Put out high-quality content on a consistent basis and be active in groups that your audience would be active in. We've seen great results using LinkedIn.

    UM, what is linkedin? It is for PEOPLE, for the most part, who work within industries, I think your best bet is to find key people in the businesses you want to market too, so, it begins with mindset.

    Help people find you, the ones who could use your service and look good at their jobs.

    You should consider the strategies for other social networking sites.

    - Join a group
    - Interact with group
    - Promote
    - Join more groups and do the same thing
    - Collaborate independently with other group members
    - Simply pay for advertising on LinkedIn
