Hi All!

I've been lurking around the warrior forum for a few months now, joined in July (I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure how much it cost to join, nobody told me it was free ), and thought it was time to introduce myself to this wonderful community.

First of all, I'm Allan, I'm from Australia, I've been running a quite successful ebay store for just over a year (when I say successful, I produce about $1000 in sales each month selling one item I have resale rights to), but I want to really get serious and start producing websites and generating traffic instead of relying on ebay to sell for me. Ebay has been a very big learning curve, but I am now ready to learn more and move forward.

I'm in a very lucky position, as I have many acquaintances who produce documentary style DVDs, musicians who record music CD's, but they all want to concerntrate on producing their docos and music, not selling them, as they have no idea were to even start with IM and also have no interest, so they are more than happy for me to work on the IM side and work on a percentage sales commission (roughly 50-50) which I'm more than happy to do. Recently, thanks to this forum, I've discovered Kunaki, so that in itself has opened up many exciting opportunities to market and distribute these items I have access to. Oh, and don't worry, legal contracts between the artists and myself will be drawn up before any business trading will be commenced.

Ok, I've made this post longer than I expected to, so thanks for reading this far! I look forward to meeting you all during my adventures into IM.

Cheers, Allan

    Gday John!

I'm based in freezing Melbourne (I swear this has to be one of the coldest winters we've had for a while).

The guys who produce the docos are into all different things (mainly destruction). At the moment, they are working on docos about ancient civilisations and how natural distructive forces could have ended them. I just watched what they have produced so far and I was pretty amazed with the detail and cgi graphics they can produce. They travel around the world (not sure where they get the funds to do so) to film these docos (they have all their own HD cameras and equipment). A little more work and they could almost be 'History Channel' quality. They want to sell them as DVDs to fund more 'expeditions', but have no idea where to even start, plus, they want to just create these docos. I may have accidently hit a small goldmine!!

    Thanks for the welcome!
