Hi all. IN this thread I would like to discuss the most different and predominantly non-standard ways of promotion of Youtube channel. What methods are there - what is the real return on them. What's working and what is not. Share your experience - don't hesitate.

    I will be the first one. The good way to increase number of subscribers - is to use small popup window on the site. Considering the fact that most Youtube channels have relation to some website - it's advisable to make such pop up window that will appear each time when user read the page till the end, pop up window will contain something like: "Did you like it? - Subscribe to our Youtube channel and we will surprise you each day". As a rule if you will publish quality content on your site (including video content) - you will constantly get new live subscribers to your Youtube channel.
    Pros:
    + it's a passive way - works in auto mode
    + it gives really live subscribers
    Cons:
    - you need to have a website and the more regular readers it has - the more effectively this way works

    Here are some tips:

    - Display your URL at the bottom of your videos
    - Use Youtube's paid video advertising service
    - Invite your readers to join it through your email signature
    - Invite people to subscribe to your Youtube channel
    - Promote your video through the search engines (rank your videos)
    - Make sure you have good title and keyword tags
    - Promote it here on Warrior Forum in your sig
    - Take advantage of annotations
    - Dont create "article videos"
    - Don't buy fake views
