    Hey Jim,

One easy thing you can do is go to Fiverr and get some backlinks for your site. You can also get a bunch of social bookmarking and sharing as well. That might help.

Another thing you can try on Social Media since you are already trying there is to run a promo that requires playing a certain amount of games and sharing with a certain amount of people (I'd go with 2 played and 3 shares with friends) and then they can win a gift card or something similar.

    Cheers

Well, the Social Media & Blog is really good way to promote any site. Beside these you can use the Relevant Forum posting & Article submission. I think you will get a good result by these work. Thanks a lot.

Go to where your people are and provide value. Locate your audience on social media, forums, sub-reddits and Facebook groups and jump right in

There are a million and one free gaming sites on the web.

What makes yours better or unique or worth sharing?

If you answer that question, you'll have a better idea of where to get traffic from.

Where is your competition getting their traffic?

That's the best way to find where to get traffic to your gaming website.

As what you can do now: engage in a highly targeted niche forum that allows signatures and help people in there regularly.

    Cheers

    Hi,

The Best way to promote is
    Not to promote directly,

When yo go to forums and other
gaming blog talking about your site
    will not help enough...

Best way is to stay in touch and
    communicate in your niche with
    where gamers hang out....

Be your self and give value to
others and let them find you...

Video marketing is huge at this
point, play few games or show
    your site around on YouTube...

    Live broadcasting on Periscope
or blab.. this is the newest market
    growing fast..

Are you building a list, if not then
start building a list and build a
    relationship with your audience...

How are you using the social
    media platforms... are you
trying to put links to your site..
if yes then you really need to
    change your strategies..

    Are you communicating to
people in your niche on other
    people fan pages...

    Are you branding your self...

There are many more i can tell you
and i hope you get the point...

The best way is not to promote direct
and just brand yourself and let people
    relate to you..

    Just like the KLT factor
    K- KNOW
    L- LIKE
    T- TRUST

    Wish you good luck
    and hope this will help...

Social media is all about sharing quality, helpful/interesting content that your targeted audience would enjoy. Think about posting gaming videos, but also share quotes and articles that would help demonstrate your value within the gaming niche. Try creating posts that encourage users to participate - ask questions, throw a contest, etc.

Your main target audience is <15 year olds (I assume). Therefore go to where your audience is. Post in gaming forums, upload to youtube etc.

When I was in school, during lunchtime we always played games. The difficult part was findig sites which the school did not block. As soon as we found one, everyone stayed on that site no matter how bad it was. We only moved on when it got blocked. So maybe try and make sure your site is accessible from schools?

Gaming is " quite easy " ...also have a lot competition same apply for fitness niche
BUT this is good..too....it means there is market for it Always....

I feel should aim those teens , below 40 ..

I personally is near 40 to be frank I used to play games a lot...but as your age reach 40 , 50 you might find a bit " waste time " , no meaning....

well I don't mean all are like this. This is only my personal feelings.

Update: Irony recently I happen to play Pokemon Shuffle on my mobile LOL...but why I play since you will ask me ...
I find it simple and just for a short fun. For PC and console games....I used to play a lot but for now I find it too time consuming unlike mobile games just for a while and doing exercise to relax for a while from IM. .

Social media for sure. Does your game have an "app" for mobile devices? If not then get one now.

You can choose the paid methods of advertisement. What I am suspecting is that you have very little audience on your social media platform and thus limiting you from making more traffic to it. What I can say is look for Facebook pages that are super active and engage the admins to be able to promote your website at a little fee. I am very sure that if you approached one, you wont be denied a chance. Embrace also creativity in what you are doing on the social media.
