Hey guys. I'm looking for a most profitable niche for affiliate marketing.

I checked ClickBank categories. Is health and fitness niche profitable than blogging niche?

Please suggest me..

  • Almost any niche can be profitable and it is not as simple as which one has the most products or solutions that sell the best as you need to factor in the competition.

There's a lot of money in Insurance, though there's also an incredible amount of competition.

I recommend finding a niche you are passionate about and which is qualified as profitable. Once you develop a business and audience within this niche, you can promote problem-solving products as an authority.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • When people talk about "big niches" and "evergreen" niches, they are talking about niches that are very large, have eager buyers and buyer who buy over and over again.

    Health and Fitness
    Diet Weight Loss
Make Money / Work From Home
Dating / Meeting / Hooking Up
    Lifestyle / Personal Development / Self-Help/ Self-Improvement

Within each of those large "niches" or markets, there are many sub-niches and angles you can use to enter the niche.

Asking if "health and fitness" is more profitable than "blogging" is not a useful question for you.

At that high level it is too much of a generalization to say one niche is more profitable than another. They all have profit potential and maximizing that potential relies a lot on your personal knowledge, interest, experience and work ethic.

there are also some others like kids and parenting, self improvement and realization, and ecommerce that can do pretty well if done properly...
  • The main areas that generate more sales are based on the urgent need of the potential buyer, I rely on this list type:
    Diet, Fitness and Beauty
    Pregnancy and child care
    Earn and save
    Health
    relationships
It is said that the niches of other macro areas are not profitable; only is it easier to sell this type of products.

    • I made 10x more money selling shed plans for your garden that I did on Diet Programs....and it cost 10x less in advertising.

think outside the box son...why spend the most amount of money in the most competitive niche.

3 week diet: #1 on Clickbank
      $1.50 a click for a $25 sale
on average spend per sale is $13.75 ($11.25 profit)

Garden shed plans: #300 on clickbank
      $.10 a click $27 a sale
on average spend per sale is $4.50 ($22.50 profit)

These are my stats the past few months. Yes the conversions are better in the diet program but who cares, its all about how much money is profit.

      Just sayin'

  • You can do what most people don't do: Market to regular businesses. "How to get more clients to your accounting firm"

    You get the idea.
  • It all bolis down to researching, testing, tweaking, and analyzing your results.

One car salesman can easily outsell another, if s/he knows exactly what their customer needs, wants, and desires.

Ultimately, it's not the product or the niche, it's how you communicate the offer (and benefits) to the consumer.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks

  • Hi how are you today?? Oh btw weight loss, Home business etc they are markets...in the weight loss market a niche would be lose belly fat and a sub niche would be women over 40 looking to lose belly fat in a 2 weeks.

Any market or niche can be profitable....you just have to understand why people buy in that niche and have a solid marketing plan in place

    Have fun!!!

    • a while back can't remember the IMer, but unfortunately he died early we all had a lot to learn from him

but he made a habit of looking for some of the most least likely niches to sell in

the one I remember still is he sold over a million dollars of coat hangers online, he did this many times with items no one thought was sexy to sell

      think about it

one person's trash is a gold mine to others

  • The age old question that is asked over and over again. You could almost compare this to asking a fisherman where his favorite fishing spot is.

You best ask and learn how to IDENTIFY the "best"niches and converting products and when you find something lucrative, play your cards close to your chest.

    • The one in which you, given your skills and resources, can make the most money in.

Some people sell real estate and become millionaires, others sell real estate and end up bankrupt.
  • It really depends if you can get visitors to your website or if you can build a list.

Imagine niche A has a potential of 1.000$ a month, but you can't attract any potential clients. But Niche B, what has only a potential of 500$ is much easier for you to reach. Then I would Choose B.

Probability is not in the niche, it is inside your qualities to attract people towards it.
  • Thank you guys.. I got good advises from all of you.
  • I run PPL (pay per lead) offers. I favor offers that have a make, get or save money angle to them. I don't run any IM/MMO offers. I also have done very well with some evergreen offers, like dating, weight loss, etc... In the end, I like offers that have mass appeal.
  • Probably all if you're a good internet marketer.
  • Hi shka2789,

If you're happy to go into any niche...

...when searching through the Clickbank Marketplace, simply filter out your searches by the Highest Gravity.

The higher the Gravity, the more affiliates are actually making sales of that product.

That's the products you want to promote.

  • There are thousands of profitable sub-niches that fall under 3 main categories...Health,Wealth and Relationships...start there. Another thing, only dive into a niche that you're passionate about. And since you're goal is to make money, make sure the niche you enter in is full of rabid buyers.
  • Diet and fitness. Health niche is always gooddd...

    • This could be a lesson to be learnt for the newbies who make this mistake of running after big niches.

      Thanks
    • The most profitable niches , as in the most money made overall will be the health, wealth and happiness niches.

If you mean what niche will be most profitable for you then that's an entirely different question. Reality is that what you do and how you promote the product will have more impact on your money making ability than the niche you choose.

My guess that there are little or no searches on that keyword (collecting autographs for profit).

I also notice that for that keyword your own site is number one in Google. Another indicator that there is little competition. But more importantly there seems little point in advertising over your own number one spot.

I'm sure you have other keywords so you may be getting ads shown for those of course.

So if you are getting zero clicks then either you are not really showing ads (keywords have no searches) and/or your add is not converting.

Double trouble there as the lower the conversion the more the click will cost you!

I looked at one add of yours (.)

That is not really a great ad headline. You need to grab peoples attention and get them to click. So more like:

Make $287 A Day With Autographs
Ultra Low Cost & Start Today

If you have no experience with AdWords I would definitely get some training.
If you can't afford it then at least use the Google free stuff

      https://support.google.com/partners/.../3154326?hl=en

I'm not saying this is the best training but it is free and designed to help you. After all Google want your money!

  • If you are Affiliate Marketer it DOESNT MATTER what are you promoting. There will be ever some niches which will works for you better and for others not ..and vice versa.
All what you need is QUALITY targeted traffic, if you will get it you will be able success with EVERY NICHE and IN EVERY SEASON.
Try to build targeted audience and promote, this will definitely helps you
  • I would have to say the weight loss niche.

    And...

Sad to say, the adult ent. industry.

But these are my opinions. The health/weight loss
industry has been going strong for decades, and in
most cases dominated. That's all people want
to do (lose weight). And with the holidays coming
to a close, the new year kicks off more weight loss
    and/or health buzz.

  • I made the most money in the gambling niche, but that is just me and it is very competitive.

I would not recommend to target the "most profitable niche", if there is one. Try to find one that has low competition and find a good offer.
  • weight loss, preppers, internet marketing, golf, camping and hiking, etc
  • Google is your best friend
  • The most popular is weight loss but, just browse the niche that you like and if you have a good promotion strategy, you can actually generate profit from whatever niche you pick

    • Around this time of year with New Years coming things like Weight Loss and Dating Niche can be lucrative.

Bizops, work at home, binary options, forex, rehab, anything legal, insurance, short term loans, online education, male enhancement, diet pills, gambling, anything to do with the colon, plastic surgery, real estate, hookups, affairs.

All I can think of off the top of my head.
  • There are small somewhat hidden niches where the cost per lead is between $0.50 - $1.00
And keep in mind that this is cost per lead NOT cost per click.

Now, compare that to niches like IM or weight loss where the cost per lead might be $3.00 - $10.00

And with these less competitive niches is feasible to build a 25,000 optin list.
With such a list, if you know how to work on your conversions, and your sales funnel, then you might very well have a profitable business.

And what might be a winning narrow niche for one person might not necessarily be one for another.

It all comes down to testing. Test various niches, offers, and every step of the way.

Only you can find out for yourself what will be profitable for YOUR business. Quit relying on answers from anyone else but yourself... but do collect intelligence.
  • As long as you know how to get the target traffic to any niche you choose.. you can go for any niche and still make more money in commissions as an affiliate. Target traffic of your offer converts no matter what the niche is..

  • It varies.

For me it's the trading field, specifically, binary options
    and currency (forex) trading.

It just so happens I love trading and it's a profitable niche
if I wanted to become an affiliate for various brokers and/
    or programs.

It's hard to break into the trading field if you don't know
    what you're talking about yourself.

I believe the same applies to weight loss, fitness, raising
    children, dog training, etc.

It's easier to market something you know and are familiar
    with yourself.

I've never been overweight a day before in my life. It would
take way to much work for me to figure out how to speak
to people from an angle or perspective I've never experienced
myself. Thus, I don't care how profitable it is, I'm not going
to market or sell products related to losing weight.

It is so much easier to sell products/services when you are
good at doing and/or using what you're selling. At that point
it becomes like recommending a good movie you recently
    watched to a friend.

    I'll share a short story...

...I recently had my phone stolen right from under my
    nose.

I was expecting phone calls and needed to handle getting
    a new one asap.

So I walked into my nearest cell phone shop 'reluctantly',
expecting one of the sales guys to try and upsell me to a
high end phone I don't want nor need.

But what I got was a pleasent surprise.

One guy was loud and making the best sales pitch he
possibly could to sell a higher end phone. He exerted
a lot of energy and still made no headway with his
    prospect.

The sales guy I was talking to was like an old friend.

He shared a story about how his baby girl took his phone,
threw it on the floor and it survived to 'his' surprise.

He told me how much he enjoyed his phone as he's pulling
it out to show me 'not a scratch' and even admitted the only
thing he doesn't like about the phone is that it doesn't have
a focus feature for the camera.

I then asked him what phone he has personally and he said
    the LG Leon.

I was spending more than I wanted to on a phone, but less
then I was ultimately willing to spend.

I made my decision to buy a phone like his because of HIS
personal experience using it, flaws and all.

He SOLD me on getting the phone. He got a commission.
But he didn't have to 'sell me' in the way you would expect
    a salesperson to sell anyone.

He was just a friend sharing information with me, while
suggesting upsells that gave him bigger commissions.

    Did I care?

    Nope.

He saved me money. He told me the truth. He shared
his human experience and I wanted to patranoge the
store more because of his relatable approach.

He told me, "I sold a LOT of those phones simply b/c
I own and use it myself." Thus, he's not REACHING
for selling points or trying to convince himself he knows
    what he's talking about.

He just does because he owns and uses what he's selling,
that gave him a 'silent' yet 'humble' confidence that his
fellow sales partner did not have. That's what sold me. He
wasn't trying to sell, anymore then I would be trying to sell
anyone on checking out a good movie I just saw. It is too
difficult to try to pretend you have experience using something
    you have never used yourself.

It's possible. I just find it to be hard work.

So find something throughout the clickbank network that
you find is appealing to you or that you have some knowledge
and/or experience with, research and see if there's a market for
it and if there's money to be made there, and go from there.

Selling will then be much easier. Effortless, really. I would
start there before going off into anything that has the potential
to make a lot of money but you know nothing about. It makes
it extremely hard for you to be convinced yourself and makes
it an uphill battle to convince others.

Until you can answer the above question first, it doesn't matter what profitable niches or affiliate markets others spoon feed you with. Even if they are profitable you won't profit until you can answer the above question first. Right now you've got the cart before the horse, so-to-speak.
  • Insurance and web hosting are very profitable and competitive niches. So what?

  • All the niche is good. But everything depends on your promotional approach. Of course, everybody likes to work with Health related niche because, the senior citizen (usually seniors buy health niche products) has enough money to buy any product to make you sales.

  • Regardless to the method you are using to make money online, affiliate marketing, product creation, Adsense etc there are 3 major markets.

    Health
    Wealth
    Relationships

This doesn't mean that you will not make any money in a niche outside of these markets but these are always my starting points when looking at new niches.

Before starting in any market you always need to complete your due diligence to ensure it will be profitable.

  • I can only speak for myself and the most profitable niche by far has been in the "online business/make money online" niche. This niche encompasses blogging, list building, video marketing, social media, software, graphics, etc. I think the versatility and the sheer amount of great products in this niche make it an easy niche to work in, at least for me. It's the only niche I've ever really launched a business around. I've dabbled in a few other niches but didn't have any success there.

#6 Make money online (Internet marketing)

    • Whichever niche(s) you go with, the choice of products to promote is also important.

For example in weight loss which would be better?
      - "Everything you need to know about weight loss" - single sale $97
      - "Weight loss monthly planner and forum" - recurring subscription $37 per month

Many niches will provide recurring income for one single introduction, and the more valuable the information to the purchaser - i.e. the problem it solves for them, and how difficult life would become if they did not continue with it, the more commissions for you!

      Regards

The get rich quick industry is cut throat yes, with lots of competition and money making potential. But the one fact that remains is that people will always need to promote out to try and rake in a buck or two. At least that's the way I see it.
  • Something to keep in mind: Women account for $7 trillion in consumer and business spending in the United States, and over the next decade, they will control two thirds of consumer wealth. Women make or influence 85% of all purchasing decisions, and purchase over 50% of traditional male products, including automobiles, home improvement products and consumer electronics.
  • Diet, Weight Loss and making money only are the most profitable niches for Affiliate Marketing
  • As for myself, dating niche seems to be promising
CPA network Affiliate2Day can help you out
  • The big evergreen markets health, wealth and romance.

These markets are evergreen and profitable and forever will be.

The health market includes niches such as diets and weight loss, embarrassing problems, quit smoking and medical issues to name but a few.

Consider the paleo diet and the hot new Mediterranean diet

Wealth covers internet marketing, forex, gambling, affiliate marketing, multi level marketing, business opportunities and more.

Romance obviously refers to online dating, attracting members of the opposite sex, pick up, finding a husband / wife, getting your ex back and many more.

All of these major markets have near endless sub-niches to be explored and are definitely VERY profitable because people are desperate for solutions to their problems and willing to pay for them.

Most of the consumers are looking for a 'magic bullet' (or magic pill in the case of weight loss) and aren't really willing to put the effort into loosing weight, building an online business or improving their confidence so they can meet the opposite sex for example.

And while all niches can be made profitable...

Some just aren't as big as others.

(Something to keep in mind in terms of scaling)
  • For newbies I suggest a niche you can easily dominate. It will give you experience, confidence and seed money to tackle larger more competitive niches.

    • The problem with what you think waaaaay too ahead of most of the people on this thread... Look at the niches they're suggesting: dating, weight loss...

Before you can choose a niche you can dominate, you need to understand what a niche is, how it's different from industry.

      Weight loss is an industry.
Exercises to lose weight is a section of that industry.
Exercises to lose weight for people who suffer from laziness is a niche...
Exercises to lose weight for left-handed lazy men is what some call a micro niche... something you can dominate.

Realistic niches: exercises to lose stomach weight for teenage girls
      or guys.

There's enough teenage girls that want to be thinner, enough of them have enough dollars to buy something (or have parents willing and able to help), enough of them believe they need something that can be purchased to help them... Enough of them buy stuff online..,

  • I admit that I haven't read through all the posts so I don't know if this answer has already been given. But I usually try to find a huge niche, the dig down for a profitable "micro Niche"
  • Health and fitness is one of the most profitable business out their. You can use blogging to promote those affiliate programs through your blog. People love to get information, so you can read some health and fitness books and teach, tell stories, and give your opinion on articles you read. The better the content the better people will keep coming to your site for the value you are giving them and in return you will get clicks on your ads.

    Hopes this helps,

    Marcco
  • you can try in clickbank to search by gravity or popularity. The ones on top are the most profitable because they are the ones being promoted

You're talking industry. How to lose weight for left-handed diabetic women is a niche.

  • THE BIG EVERGREEN MARKETS HEALTH,WEALTH AND ROMANCE.
These markets are profitable and evergreen and forever will be. The health market includes niches such as diets and weight loss ,embarassing problems, quit smoking and medical issues to name.

HOBBY AND ACTIVITIES THAT PEOPLE SPEND LOTS OF MONEY IN
Hobbies and activities are also stupidly profitable if you target the ones where the customers have a lot of money to spend on thier passion
    .
AFFILIATE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WHICH HAVE HIGH PAYOUTS.
These includes pay day loans , private jet charter, online casinos, handbags and jewellery and an almost endless list.
  • Make money online is most profitable, but most competitive at the same time.
  • Personally I would look at myself and my capabilities before I get into a niche. A niche market has specific characteristics that makes it niches, it is focused and requires some sort of expertise on the subject matter. Unless you have a good budget and time to go, learn and master the area, I'd say first see what you can do, what are the options and then choose.
Most of niches can be successful but needs a ton of time and effort.
