Hi Warriors

I'm making a business plan what i want to do is have a site and build a list off that site so that i can sell clickbank products and my own digital products.
So i'm trying to write a list of all the things i will/might need to start up and i was wondering if you could look at my list and see if ive missed anything or give some advise on best companies to use.

My List

Hosting
Auto responder
Market Samurai (Not sure if i need)
Word press
Ad money - don't think I'll use paid traffic straight away but it might be worth having some on the side just in case.

Ok that's my list so far any help would be brilliant.

Thanks

You probably don't need Market Samurai or other keyword tool right away.

If your plan is to build a list then you would only need a squeeze page at first. Send traffic to the squeeze page. You can use solo ads, PPC (Bing and Facebook are good), YouTube and social sites like Reddit, Tumbler, Pinterest, ect.

More than tools and services you need to learn the details end-to-end for your business model. YouTube is good for this. As well as asking detailed questions here.

You need to register a domain and get hosting

Squeeze page. Wordpress is good. But not necessary as you can build a funnel with HTML templates or use a complete paid service like Leadpages.

You can offer something like a free ebook for opt-in. Either write something or use PLR. Make sure it is high quality and related to the Clickbank product you are promoting.

Autoresponder and follow up series. Do not forget the follow up series. It should be focused on ONE Clickbank product with a series of emails that add value and promote the product.

You can create a second follow up series for another Clickbank product for when the first series finishes. And more series as you like.

Something to track your traffic and conversions so you can tweak your funnel for maximum ROI. There are free and paid services that do this.

Once you have the funnel set up and a strong autoresponder series in place you should concentrate on sending traffic to your funnel and tweaking for conversions.

With the squeeze page model you do not need a lot of keyword analysis or SEO. You are not going to rank a squeeze page in Google. You will use Paid/referral/YouTube/Social traffic.

You don't really need a blog if you are concentrating on building and monetizing your list. A squeeze page and funnel are enough to start driving traffic. If you want to start a blog and publish content then a list is a good source of traffic to your content.

Wow thanks that's an eye-opener, What sort of money do you think i should start out with for Ads (i know it differs) but a rough estimate if that's not too much to ask.

Your plan sounds good to me. Get out there and do it and put it into action. You will lose money and have some projects fail, but that will only make you smarter. Stay resolute in your direction, and don't let anyone turn you away.

P.S.. If you're going to do affiliate marketing, promote a product where the commission rate is super high (ex: $500), or promote a product where you earn recurring income from it month after month - for as long as the customer stays in the program.

    Hi Ishimoo,

That's a good list. Keep it simple, especially at the beginning.

The only other thing to add to the list is a domain name.

    Here's who I use:

    Domain Registrar: Namecheap
    Web Hosting: Hostgator
    Autoresponder: Aweber
