    It comes every year. So, if you do seasonal or calendar events marketing, this should be in the mix.

    Black Friday has a "huge discount" aura around it, so, we will make it a special day for our subscribers with a once a year huge discount offer.

    Many businesses begin planning for next year as soon as the event is over.

    It should not be a last minute thing, it isn't a surprise. So, treat it like all the calendar events and plan for it.

      Not doing anything out of the ordinary myself. But I do use it as a learning experience by researching what others are doing. Reason? To see what methods I can implement, adapt or use in my normal marketing throughout the year.

      Even if you don't do anything but sit home and eat left-over turkey, do it while you're watching and analyzing commercials, reading ads and watching the latest ways big dog marketers create traffic. It'll be like the superbowl of marketing (creating traffic) for those with intelligent eyes to see and ears to hear.

        Absolutely! This is a great way to think of marketing campaigns for yourself. A lot of these things can be easily adapted for social media using your own graphics and altering the sales pitch.
