Is there good money in selling website templates?

I've been a warrior member for a bit now and have been tinkering around with the whole IM think and frankly I'm lost however I am good at designing websites that pop.

Is there money to be made in this field if i design high grade website templates and then sell them to others PLR style?

If so what's the going rate for a good basic website nowadays with all the bells and whistles?

  Not as of yet. It will be my first time round selling my sites....i haven't created a portfolio because I've never considered doing it for money before that's why I was asking about it first before diving into it.

What kind of templates do you do? Wordpress, html...?

Generally I have seen templates sell well under $40> but mostly around $10-$20.

Usually with 10-30 buyers for each template.
