Rss means Real Simple Syndication. This is the way you can spread the world about your website. People susbscribe to your RSS feed and they read whatever you post in their RSS readers.

An easy way to have a RSS feed is to use Wordpress as a platform for your site. The RSS feed comes as a default. No need extra effort to generate one.

it all depends what you want to do with it

you can get people to use your feed to keep up to date with what is going on with you

you can use other peoples feeds as content on your sites

you can use the feeds to help indexing your site including helping you get ranked

this is a little involved for a thread so if you could narrow it down to exactly what you need you might get some focused answers

I will be making available soon a ebook covering pretty much covering everything about rss fees, there is even a few rss feed WSO's going on at the moment including one in my sig

so if you could tell us what exactly you wish to accomplish might be able to help a little better

You have a wordpress plugin and here is a program to put a feed inside a static website.

You might want to take a look at rss-scripts.com

This is an easy was to implement all kinds of rss feeds (eBay, Google New, MSN News, YouTube Video, Amazon, etc) into your site.

Cheap Holiday Deals

ok now i have a feed in to my site but does anyone know how to dictate the results so only the top 5 show and how to put with in my site rather tahn the template its comes in ... hope i have explained it a little better..
