Why you should NOT stick to just one niche.

Would sticking to one niche be akin to 'putting all your eggs in one basket'? I guess being a master of one niche is important but at the same time, people have to improve and further themselves, that's where it's time to delve into other areas of interest/ opportunity

While offline I am near to a master plumber, among 4-5 other trade skills I adapted, and evolved into becoming proficient at... earning good money from being diversified.

My online experience thus far has for lack of better wording; "knocked me on my @$$ more than once". - Largely impart to 'wanting' to learn it all!

As a big believer in diversification, and never having liked my eggs being in one basket - I have to date been completely 'out of my comfort zone' online for a long while now.

The funny thing being, despite having 'bounced around' like a male rabbit in hole full lettuce...

One thing has happened, everything that I sucked at distracted my focus from just writing (as writing was my initial reason to get online) is now coming togther full circle, and lead me to appreciate that armed with these other skillsets... my writing will be more valuable.

Strange how exploration often reveals; the more you persist to master one skill, you inadvertently inherit many new ones.

I believe; limiting oneself to one niche may work for some... But, I'm just not fortunate enough to be stimulated doing the same thing umpteen times, it bores me to feel constrained by one topic or niche.
