Just wondered how long roughly after publishing and social marking a blogger blog would it take to get found by our pals at google?

Just tried a little game suggested by waggers.

      hmmm ping o maticed it, social markered it, when i place the url in the address bar in takes me to it, but when i google the title in quotes in finds 4 pages of results but not my blog!!!

      I just knocked together a tiny (not very good) blog story just to get an idea of pinging adsensing and publishing a blogger blog.

      Any ideas?

    I posted to my blog everyday when i first started. Went to ping o matic and pinged everyday. Google soon began sending the spiders in a matter of seconds after i posted an update.

    so as we stand, on blogger it was my first ever blog, where exactly at the moment be seeing the blog advertised if its not on google?

    Inncidentaly it's just a very small news peice about Landon Donovan having swine flu. In the top 20 google trends so just thought id whack a tiny summint up to see what happened and if i could find the blog.

      Hmmm still nada and only up against 971 competing sites using the exact term "landon donovan swine flu".

      Any ideas what i may have done wrong or as its my first ever blogger blog may it just not have been picked up yet?

      Also with social marker i may have done something stupid. Do youhave to sign up with all the networks first or can u just bookmark from there without signing up?

    Ok i' am a fooool. As far as i can see you need to sign up to all the sites you want to bookmark first! Then social marker allows you to get the blog bookmarked by all in one.

    No good doing it if you aint signed up to the sites in the first place though!!! Duh!

    Hence no google index and only 10 page veiws!
