Is it worth selling a domain name on Flippa?

There are like a bazillion of them, so it would only make sense to promote a single word domain.

Do they even get seen?

Why would you think only single word domain names would be profitable?

I think makemoney.com would be pretty good. So would buywatches.com.

Yeah they might do well if they can be seen through the 1.5 million on their site.

You have to premium first to get noticeable. If you think you can sale it, why not. Or you could JV with broker that have good reputation to sell the domain for you and split the profit.

How do you find a broker?

The Flippa portfolio feature doesn't get domains a lot of views, but if you have a decent domain and run an auction on it, you'll get some views and bids too - but you need to know what a good domain is.

You should look at the listings of domain auctions on Flippa and see what kind are selling and what kind are not.

ShootMe.com sold for about $200. I've seen some .net and even .io sell for more than that, and they were not single words.

Personally, I think the best way to sell a domain is to have a high traffic, high revenue site sitting on top of it. Then you can market the site to those already doing well in the niche. They will immediately understand the value in what you are selling and they will want to grow their business by adding yours to it.

      Just a thought,

I'm looking to sell the domains because I don't want to build sites on them lol
