Hi folks,

I understand I can get an appraisal done but I'm not looking for that necessarily just some quick help from someone experienced with buying and selling aged domains. If it's too much hassle then just tell me to get lost and advertise in the paid section. I just don't want to get ripped off and sell my aged domain for less than it's worth.

I have a 9 year old domain (nearly 10 years old) in the lifestyle niche. Specifically creating a better/future lifestyle for yourself.

Looking for:
- Guidance on setting a reserve price (in Flippa or any other services you recommend)
- Rough idea of worth
- Best action steps to sell

I don't want to disclose the domain but will do through PM!

Thanks!

p.s I understand there is probably loads of info on the warrior forum too on the best process but would prefer dealing with someone experienced.

Look for similar domains in your niche.

That should give you a rough idea regarding the value and value trend (going up or going down with time) of your domain.

Before you start buying expired domains please tell me what your level of experience is with flipping websites or domains?

One more thing before you start please do some research on google and youtube and flippa because its not that easy anymore to make money flipping websites as it was before.
You need some experience to know how and what to do.

Thanks for your input but I'm just selling and not looking to flip domains or websites at this point.

I am sure that you can sell the domain at a very good price. The price of such like domains is never fixed and people do set up prices depending on how much they have invested in them and also based on the demand for the domain. If you think the demand is too high, then you can have it sold at a higher price. I had a friend of mine who sold the domain for $10000 and it was just 5 years old. So it depends on several factors.
