Feedback on how I could start a profitable training or tutorial website on a small budget?

I'm very interested in switching from physical to digital products building e-learning website. I'm not sure how to go about starting it. .
My budget is very small so I would start out small. Heres some ideas I had.

1. I could just get training eBooks from Clickbank and post them on my site. Write reviews on them on the blog. That would be very affordable, but I dont know how profitable that would be.

2. I could create a video course on 1 small topic, like say how to get traffic from Instagram. Put those videos in a members area and charge to access those videos.
Once some sales come in I can work on the next video like how to get traffic from Pinterest, etc.

3.I can do podcast interviews with successful people who have a product to sell, like business coaches. They give a few great tips in exchange for me telling my audience about them.

Or something else?
thoughts?
thanks

For idea #2, Udemy.com is perfect. Why not use their platform instead of creating your own?

You have to decide how profitable it would be.

Dig up some products you think you'd be promoting, figure out the profit margins and how much traffic you'll need to direct, and how to get the converting traffic on a list.

Why would you wait for sales to come in before starting another video?
What kind of numbers can I expect as a user of your video to get this traffic from instagram? Are you some kind of SEO specialist?

3.I can do podcast interviews with successful people who have a product to sell, like business coaches. They give a few great tips in exchange for me telling my audience about them.
What audience? You have a list already? You have some successful people you are close with that you can convince to do this for you?

    Define "small budget."

Sounds like you are not confident in what you are about to embark on.

Every thing has some bit of risk factor to it. The less you know about it, the bigger the risk.

    Here's what I suggest -

Go make just 1 tutorial. Just go make it first as an exercise. Do some research first to see if there is an audience who is going to want to pay for what ever information it is you are sharing.

Then go toss it in the WSO for a test run.

This exercise in itself and figuring out every thing you need to do to accomplish it will provide you with a lot of answers to things.

Your other option is to just go toss up that affiliate site you mentioned in #1. Use your own traffic getting skills (that you plan to teach about) to get traffic to that site. If what you think you know is really that good then you should have no issue with making sales there and at the same time verifying what you plan to teach yourself can work.

Dear as you want to work on the website in low budget i would prefer you to use the free templates and make your site first.. and run it on some free domain for some time when it get some traffic post the tutorials... to make tutorials there are many free sites which offer free video making you just make it from here so that you can make it all free and in less budget but if you wan that people buy it you need to make an ecommerce forum and for that you need to pay only then you can make them buy...... and it' a good thing if people like your tutorials they will definitely ask you for more and more and they will pay your higher rates...

    Hey marc100,

Training videos are a great idea. If you are going to do a membership site make sure you show the full spectrum of what you are teaching. Give out pdf or templates to help with what you are teaching. Slides to your videos are always helpful. If you don't already have an email list to market out to you may want to start that first. I have found an article on CopyBlogger (not my site btw) that has helped me. I hope it helps.

The easiest way I know to get started is this:

Find a profitable (successful) web site that is doing what you would like to do . . . then model what that site is doing.

I didn't say copy what they are doing . . . just use their website and sales system as a model for something original that you create.

The modeled site could be in an unrelated niche even. The point is, others have already discovered what is profitable. See what they're doing and do the same thing in your own way.

Success leaves a trail of clues and it's easy to follow the structure and system of somebody that has already figured things out.

      The best to you,

      Steve

Training videos probably work the best as far as teaching method. Many people like to see videos when it comes to education. You can follow a simple low budget method like the micro-continuity method.

basically you only need your web site on which you will have your training materials, an autoresponder and paypal. You can have the customer sign up for your monthly membership through your salespage. Once they have processed their payment through paypal they are then redirected the the sign up page where they can enter their email. Then you can have the autoresponder set up to automatically sent out new material every week on autopilot. You can make 52 videos and you are set for the year and set it on autopilot.
