michael jackson stuff

Hey guy,

I have a huge michael jackson fanclub on fb with a lot of active fans.
So I now i am think about what I can do with it to make money.
My first thought was building an own ecommerce store, but i am kinda worried
about the copyright problem I could have. What am I able to sell?
Or any other idea's ?

        It's not copyright - it's trademark. Yes, you would likely have a problem as the Jackson name/images/trademarks are now controlled by the family in trust for MJ's children and they tightly control those trademarks.

      Sell things that are loosely based on him.

      'Beat it' baseball bats and Billie Jeans for example.

      On a serious note, Id avoid using names in the domain and site and stick to parody images if you are developing clothing or items with imagery.
