200 visitors daily possible for newbie with few thousand £££ investment?

Hi there, I'm Joe, live in the UK, a newbie to 'all of this' and so need a little advice.

I'm looking to ultimately replace my current income by selling my knowledge of my passion online instead of physically trading my hours for cash.

So I have my 'niche' (which isn't that niche) but I see that as a good thing as the market is big.

For this to realistically work for me and replace my current income,
considering what I would be selling my products/subscriptions for and using a conversion sales rate of 2% I would have to be bringing in 200 visitors per day.

So what I'm asking is, with a few thousand pounds investment would this be possible?

Cheers for any help and guidance.

It's possible without that much invested. But it depends on your niche.

The niche I'm looking target, (doing some very basic keywords research) searches for two words that would relate to my domain name and area of business locally monthly from between 2400 - 368,000 with alot of advertiser competition... if any of that helps (prob not haha)!

If there is a lot of competition in your market then it is highly likely you can buy traffic.

In the more competitive markets competition can be fierce on places like adwords, so you need a decent backend in place, usually the people with only one offer in place get pushed out of the game as they can't afford to bid high enough.

Ultimately paying for traffic is all about making the numbers work, for every £1 you spend you need to ensure you get at least £1 back in the long term.

I run a bricks and mortar business and want out to be honest! I'd rather sit at my computer all day than be running around like a busy fool!

These would be targeted visitors/enthusiasts. I have not found one example of people trying to sell info to this niche, wether thats a good or bad thing I'm not sure, as i say though, it's a fairly large global market I would be looking to sell to.

If you have money to spend you could outsource some article writing for article marketing. You could also outsource some backlinking to get your site and your articles showing up in the search engines.

It would take a lot less than a few thousand pounds to reach 200 visitors per day too.

    200 visits per day .... HELL YES !! !!

It all depends if you are willing to grow to that level over a little time or if you are of the mindset that you need it tomorrow ??

If your looking at immdiate high level traffic then your looking at your paid traffic options, PPC etc ... but you state a lot of competition so costs are likely to be high, but if your return on investment was good then obviously worth it.

Without knowing specifics of competition levels it is hard to say

If you have the investment my advice would be to invest that in services to improve the free traffic to your blog. The hosting company I use for example does a mega traffic package I believe is about $97 per month where they do a serious amount of traffic building work for you

You could look at something along those lines for your investment, organically grow over a few months

    Hope that helps
