Is the market hot or cold so close to Christmas?

We are about ten days away from Christmas. Would you guys recommend doing a solo ad drive (for IM course) now or should I wait until the new year? Is the market hotting up or cooling down as the festive season approaches?

There are always last minute buyers out there, especially during Christmas. People are inherently lazy, remember that.

But, you also need to get the stuff to them on time, so if you offer fast shipping, go for it. You'll definitely make a ton of sales!

I agree with the shipping comment above. You absolutely need to be able to get the products to the customer in time and make that clear when you advertise. If your product is one that people will buy for someone for Christmas then the market is HOT! What I am finding is products that people would purchase for themselves, like diet offers and things like that are going to be hot right after Christmas as people are getting ready for that new year fitness and health explosion. In that case it is cold right now. But if it is a sales product like electronics or Christmas apparel then go hard and go fast! I just read recently that searches for things like 'Christmas Sweaters' explodes to something like 9 million this month on Google alone.

I deal mainly with physical products and have always seen a dip around this time of year. I would wait till early next year if you could.

Do not get between a wombat and a chocolate biscuit; you will regret it dearly!

I like what Zig Ziglar said on this topic, "Business is only good or bad between your own two ears".

The internet marketing niche is a hot niche all year round. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a solo ad on Christmas EVE or Christmas Day. Before and after is fine.

    its HOT!!!

I sell mostly biz opps, and Christmas time is always really good. Last year I made over $12,500 with big ticket programs on Christmas day...

This year has been the same, freaking crushing it... Jan is always a really good month too, but you want to be filling up your funnel with leads starting in Nov

I would run the campaign now. No time like the present. If the offer is targeted and good, you have nothing to worry about. Folks will still buy. If you can tie it in with the holiday coming up, it might boost sales. Be sure to offer some really good bonuses.

The holidays and other recurring popular events are always hot for selling consumer products, including IM and business opportunities.

However, solo ads are among some of the worst marketing methods to use during these extremely competitive periods.
