Is it possible to make money selling webshop software?

I have made a webshop software (responsive design) and is looking for ways to monitize it. This webshop software is designed with direct selling in mind. Customer can arrange home parties and get commission based on how much he sell to others. Network marketing is also supported. So I have this software, and is looking for ways to make money on it that don't need big investments.
I've been in contact with a company here and they say if I want to sell their products via my site I need to order products for like $100.000. Meaning money I don't have..
It sounds a bit crazy that I developed this software and now is looking for ways to monitize it. But it was developed in a joint venture with an other guy. I make the software and he bring in the clients and products. Now I think I must look for an alternative way just in case this guy bails.

My ideas:
- Was thinking about drop shipping but if so then I would guess ebay is a better platform.
- Create a solution where companies webshops are hosted on my server, using my software, for a monthly fee
- Create adsense advert where I annonce that I have webshop software that can be customized....
