I gave content writing job to a VA I met on warriorforum. How can I detect if the contents were copied from somewhere else, before I post it on my website?

There are a number of duplicate content checkers on the net, like copyscape.

You can also just take long passages in quotes "" and enter it in Google search.

As mentioned already, use Copyscape or search Google using fragments of the content in quotation marks, such as "the hungry cat was looking for food in the old house across the street"

    Other alternatives :
plagiarism checker & plagiarism detection ::: plagium
    and
    Plagiarism Checker

I use only Copyscape. But that Google search query with the quotation marks works good too.

There are atleast 10 sites, where you can check them, the thing that amazes me is, you didn't think about this before giving this to VA

Nowadays it is no longer an issue to detect the content, that is it published anywhere, or, new?. You can copy the data & search on the search engine. The Search Engine will show you the location, if the content is already published. Beside this there are many site by which you can check is the data original or, plagiarism? do you know the "copyscape" or, some other site like this? You can check the content by the copyscape. Thanks

You can check in the goole. In the search box of the google, you can paste your data. If there is such data already on the web, the google will show you the link. By which you will be able to understand is the data copied or, original. Thanks for your advance.
