My company name is pretty important to my business.

Putting aside legal things like trademarking, etc. What sites should I claim the name on?

I have the dotcom, and I have:

facebook.com/mycompanyname

twitter.com/mycompanyname

linkedin.com/company/mycompanyname

Skype id: mycompanyname

What other sites, tools, social networks and other things should I claim the name on?

    Domains are probably the MOST important for this.

    Ensure you have your company name + similar variations if needed.

    thanks -- i'll register pinterest, instagram, and reddit

    although the name is quite memorable there are lots of possible misspellings of it -- i won't go mad registering everything; but i'll think about that

    and there are the different extensions. i also have mycompanyname.net

    what about other extensions? market is worldwide so i don't think geographical is particularly important

    what about .co and others?

    You can also invest in Youtube (though you need 30 days, 500 subs, and an active video to select a domain name). There is also Instagram, Tumblr, Reddit, Pinterest, ect.

    It depends on what your company offers.
