Hey Warriors

I'm a new in the world of internet marketing, so can you answer on my rookie questions?

I already have an website, niche is travel/tourism, I don't have a stable traffic, one day I had 2K visitors, next day only one hundred people.

I want to try Adsense, but not now, I'm looking for other networks which will be good for me.

Don't mention Aff Marketing, I already tried it with bad results

So can you tell me how can I increase my traffic? SEO is a long-distance run and I need traffic nowadays. Any idea where can I buy legal traffic which converts? or how can I deliver traffic on my website?

Also which is the best alternative for Adsense, of course which will accept this kind of traffic and will convert it?

Thanks

    Hey,

"buying traffic" usually isn't cheap if you're buying real / legit traffic -- and the ONLY way to do that is to have visitors REFERRED to your website aka interested people, not just Iframes loading in the background of another page building fake traffic to your website (which is what a lot of traffic providers do).

If you want to develop a business online, there's no short cut. You're going to need to invest some time to research your target market, create relevant content and make yourself an authority in your niche.

Your question seems a bit vague ,you said one day you had 2K visitors ,other days you get 100

Can you tell us the source of those 2k visitors ,also you mentioned that you have a website in travel /tourism

Is it a review blog or your own services and yes travel will be a competitive niche to rank for ...but that does not mean that you should not attempt to do SEO

Without knowing anything about your site ,it will be difficult to recommend anything

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money on your blog. If you have had bad results it is probably the offers you promoted, I would not give up on it and would try some CPA networks, especially for a travel site.

Agree with agmccall. Don't give up on affiliate marketing. It is however not something you can do alone. Find a mentor whose bank account shows that he has mastered the art and approach it from the correct perspective.

Belong to your traffic quality. I think Adsense or something like that will not make enough money. Maybe you should back to Aff again to see.

I had traffic from Reddit, some forums & FB. (most from Eastern Europe and a little bit from US)

Website is about travel destinations, where to go for holidays and so on.

Aff Marketing is good, but I don't write reviews about products or something like that, to have revenue from that.

That's why I need some method, I know PPC campaigns are good, but Adwords & Bing are very expensive and I think, I'll spend much money, than earn with them.

So I need a source to buy traffic, if it's possible and earn with partner networks

Even minimum payout will be good for start.

Making money online is much more than buying traffic from a good source.

You need to be sure that you can convert what traffic you're getting into sales (or commissions).

If you are getting 100 - 2,000 visitors per day as you say, that's plenty of traffic to test your business model. So make sure you have an understanding of how much a current visitor is worth.

Only then should you buy traffic . . . when it becomes profitable based upon your visitor value.

2k is really a lot. I really envy you. When I first started my site only has 50 visitors per day . Without a doubt, your website can make money easily. From my experience every 1000 visitors you should see 1 or 2 sales for affiliate products.

Sorry, adsense might not be the best. I would recommend you to create your own products and sell them, so you profit at full price instead. Adsense gives a little money which do not WORTH at all.

With 2k visitors per day you can easily sell out 1-2 products per day. For example, you have a product that priced at $97. You can profit $194 per day.

There are many ways to increase your site traffic & page rank. You should use more than one way. You can do the SEO. You need to increase your site back link any way. You need to choose the Do-follow link more & more then the No-follow link. You may need to submit some articles. Yo can do some relevant blog commenting. Thanks for your advance.

    2K I only had twice, now It's only 100-300

That 2K was from reddit, as you see article was good

I had Amazon Associates, but it only had clicks, no buyers

To be honest I really don't know which network to chose, which will be the best for me.

What about PPC campaigns? Is it a good way to increase traffic? For example If I have adsense banners on my website and start a campaign with Bing or FB Ads.

good way? or I'll lose only money with that?

In Affilaite Marketing I only get paid when customer buys something yes? As I'm not writing reviews on my website about products, I don't think that AFF will work for me.

But still, what Aff will you recommend me? Amazon?

I'm thinking to stick with infolinks and then start a campaing in FB ADS. What do you it will work?

If most of your traffic is from Eastern Europe then that is likely what your problem is.

When you say that affiliate marketing doesn't work for you, it simply means you do not yet know how to make it work.

Like all legitimate forms of monitization online, adsense works when you understand how to use it. It will generally earn you .10cents - .30cents U.S. dollars/cents per visitor over-all... (at least that is typical in my opinion, when done right). This means that 100 daily visitors will typically earn you about $1 - $3 daily.

If you build several sites that get 100 - 500 visitors a day, then you can have a nice passive income from it.

An alternative to adsense is kontara, I have not used them, but have been told they are ok. Earnings may be a bit less than adsense, but they are a legit company (I believe).

Paid traffic usually requires a proper funnel to be in place to be profitable. When you say Google and Bing are expensive it shows you do not understand paid advertising.

Any/All paid advertising is expensive when you do not have offers that convert in place and a solid sales funnel to capture leads and sales.

If on the other hand, you spend $20.00 per sales conversions for a $40.00 sale, then that is not expensive, it is profitable.

There are many ways to monetize a travel site. Some you have mentioned such as adsense and affiliate marketing. Others would be to contact hotels at the destinations you are recommending and having them pay to place a banner on your site for a monthly fee, or offering a coupon to your visitors and when they use it you get a fee from the hotel and countless other ways you can monetize it.

Take some time to learn more. If you rush ahead without learning you will waste your time and your money.

      Good luck and Happy Holidays.

Can we see your site? Best alternative for Adsense is to sell advertising space to other people like us on a monthly basis.

I don't have that website any more, I sold it.

Now I have a new website, It's also about travelling, but at this time I'm getting only 100-150 visitors a day.

So need some ad network where can I get 20-30$ a month for a start. PPC/CPM

While I'm going to make my website more popular.

Yeah if you had terrible results with Aff. Marketing in a Travel Niche you are probably going about it wrong in the whole Process or parts of the process..i.e. the Particular Product, the actual Funnel including optin/sq.page, the Follow Ups and Broadcasts may not be conducive for building a relationship and turning that into Sales etc..

      Go back and reevaluate
