Make a blog about a topic that you can write about everyday. Doesnt matter what the topic is. Then make social media accounts for your blog. Since you have money to spend then hire writers to help you write good content on your blog that you can repost on social media. Create digital products you can sell on your blog. Grow from there

Build blog networks using curated social content.

Use the same social channels for traffic.

Build up revenue using CPA and Adsense.

Get up to $500 revenue per month per site

Sell on Flippa for a few thousand each and repeat the process

FACT: There are DOZENS of millions of pieces of content shared on social platforms... You won't run out of material and people are eager to share stuff.

Stop--right now--looking for the magic bullet to bring you the sales.

    The tools are distractions.

They're marketed, improperly and often intentionally misleadingly, as a Business In A Box when in fact all they are is a tiny piece of the Traffic or Conversion side of the Sales equation.

You only have to concern yourself with two things.

    Traffic

    and

    Conversion.

    That's it.

Everything else is window dressing. And that's where you and loads of other people get confused, caught up in the distractions of this or that incomplete tool.

A traffic tool by itself isn't going to bring you sales.

A conversion tool alone isn't going to bring you sales.

A bunch of traffic and conversion tools jumbled together aren't going to bring you sales.

Think about the CORE of your business.

What valuable problem are you solving, for whom?

Your job on the Traffic side of the equation is to bring in (hopefully) pre-qualified leads. People who admit they're in the situation you fix. That they have the problem you solve.

Regardless of the quality of your incoming traffic, you need a method for sorting them into those people who DO have that problem...and those who DO NOT.

Ignore those who DO NOT. Segment them into another list if you can, for later.

Those who DO have have the problem, and acknowledge the fact, they are the result of your marketing. Now your job is to convert these qualified leads into buyers.

That's what your VSL, sales page, or whatever conversion tool you're using is for.

    Anything else is overcomplication.

Unqualified Leads >>> Qualified Leads >>> Sales.

    Yes Jason! Great response.

I agree, we get sold the "golden ticket" everyday, but this just has to be ignored.

You need to sit down and work on Traffic and Conversion everyday for a year to see solid results (at least that was my case anyway!)

    Thanks
    Tom

You can develop this quickly if you:

      a) have the skill to solve the problem

      b) identify a source of traffic with people who have that problem

      c) develop a way to communicate your expertise with those people, and put the offer to fix it in front of them.

I help people with their funnel design. And the #1 problem I find people have is this:

they don't have anywhere near sufficient traffic to meet their revenue targets. And, unfortunately, they don't know it.

So they want to make say $1000 or $2000 a month to start, but they're trying to get that from one prospect a day clicking over to their site. It's just not possible, not when the equation is something like:

      (Revenue Target: $2000 ... Sale Value: $500)

      400 Unqualified Leads : 40 Qualified Leads : 4 Sales

      and their actual performance is:

      30 Unqualified Leads : 3 Qualified Leads : 0 or 1 Sales.

Look for that "hungry market"...where are the people who will make up your traffic source?

That's where you'll get your first 'biggest bang for your buck'. Then concern yourself with qualifying and converting.

But where does the newbie go? All over the place. And nowhere.

You've read a lot but what have you actually done? Do you have a website up and running now that people can sign up to an email list or buy something? Do you have videos on YouTube or books on Amazon or anything like that?

Also if you are still wanting to know what works, are those thousands of dollars worth of books or products you bought all scams? There is nothing worthwhile and just complete and utter garbage?

Did you read what Jason wrote above? If so - and that's the only question you have...good luck. Just remember - when you are buying products. YOU are a customer. When you are SELLING products - you have a business.

        Nope...

You put what they need right in front of them and they miss it entirely.

I laid out in this thread what I charge people to learn. And those who are ready are delighted.

Instead, the main forum folk go rushing back to looking for the magic bullet.

It's "The Question Behind The Question"...they don't want the real answer. They want to be told the solution is some easy, quick, push-and-make-money thing.

        Good luck, folks. It's not.

Also love the Wordpress person who says Wordpress is the way to go. Talk about having a hammer and seeing everything as a nail.

You DON'T need Wordpress to succeed online (I use Wordpress, BTW; it's a useful tool but not *necessary*)!

You DON'T need a WEBSITE to succeed online!

        Find a hungry market.

Get a good solution for the big problem it admits it has.

Get the offer for that solution in front of that hungry market.

        You'll make sales.

You don't need a website to do that.

You don't need Wordpress to do that.

You don't need paid traffic to do that.

You don't need explainer videos to do that.

You don't even need your own content to do that!

        Traffic...and...Conversion.

BTW, @Rich, I checked out Eric's book and yup, guess what: he says a lot of the things I've said here. And I'm certain he's experienced the same extreme level of dingbat frustration because of what he says in there.

        Does he recommend specific tools?

        NO.

Mindset, a development process, and MAKING SALES.

Do you need a website to make sales?

        No.

But nearly all y'all *believe* you do.

And that is a precise symptom of why you fail.

I made what for most of you would be ultra high-ticket content writing sales with NO website, NO samples, NO specific industry experience...and kept that client (as their only writer) happy for years--until it became no longer a good use of my time. And looking back, I should have outsourced the work and edited what I got back, so I continued to profit off of it.

Get your heads out of your ****** and focused on the right things.

THE TECH IS NOT THE SOLUTION.

If it was, everyone would be rich.

Technology is glue. Apply it last.

I hope I reach one thinking person.

    James,

You're going down the rabbit hole, my friend... You can be stuck there for years and years....

Drop everything you are doing and Google "Eric Louviere." Go to his Blog.... Opt in to his list. He'll send you his book for free... Read it five times before doing anything else.

I would provide a link to his opt in page..... BUT, the last time I did, my post was deleted by the mods.

DISCLAIMER (AGAIN): I have no affiliation with Eric Louviere. I don't make money from his products, services, Coaching or the beautiful pictures of his smiling mug. I DO NOT work for Eric Louviere. I'm simply trying to help someone out.

You ALREADY know exactly how to make money as you've spent $1000's!

Why did you pay $1000's? How did they sell you?

Take the WSO section of this forum, there's a sweet irony to most high ticket WSO offerings.

Setup squeeze pages and start building a list of targeted subscribers in a particular niche/market. Then find out the highest converting products and promote to the list.

Don't forget to provide value to your list. If you fail this part, the list will become unresponsive.

As you learn what works and doesn't, you may want to start creating your own products.

    Hello,
Start with WordPress, watch videos on how to use WP, study for hrs before you build, unless you know how to build a super nice blog, then don't buy anything, until you understand this business, or it will not work.
Study the WF Forum, you will find many people, that will show you tips on this business, this is a Real Business, so you can not learn over night.

Also it takes a while to make real money, unless you have skills of your own.

    Welcome to IM marketing,

Just to solidify whats been said.... Jason and Eric are two really excellent 'go to' guys.

Jason outlined a tremendous amount of really good, solid points...take heed

Eric, although he has his haters ( because he is highly successful) is a master of knowing how to do it, then doing it, and then teaching others how to do it
