I have gotten PM's from people asking me to trade a WSO purchase I made with theirs. I always say no and give them a lecture about theft.

I am not shocked at all. THis place is full of good people and when you have places like that leeches come out of the woodwork.

Hey guys. At the suggestion of Mike, I'm going to out myself. I was the Warrior that got the above PM and reported to Mike and the Help Desk. Y'know, I just spent 87$ on another piece of software called Market Samurai. I was lucky enough to get the massive 30 Day Challenge discount but would have bought it at full price ($150). What many so-called "Warriors" seem to not grasp is that the cost of a particular tool (or suite in the case of Market Samurai) is offset by the amount of time and effort it saves you. And by understanding and using them you can make more money faster. And in most cases it is a one-time fee.

Market Samurai isn't even out of beta, but once it is in full release I get all subsequent updates and modules FOR LIFE. It is the same with Big Mike's products. And at full price Mike's are a steal.

The point is: Do not think expense, do not think cost. Think long term value. Think investment.

And for Heaven's sake, if you're not willing to spend a little bit to start your business off right, then do us all a favor and get out of it. Think about it: Domain name $8 with coupon. Hosting: $2.96/mo A suite of 5 of Big Mike's Bots at sale price $35. So for just under $50 you can set up and run a business.

Where else, what other business can you start for that little?

I think that's something that a lot of people really don't understand about
running a business online. The cost of entry, compared to a brick and
mortar store, is a joke. Even today, with multiple sites running and
more stuff going on than you can imagine, my monthly expenses are
less than $200. Actually, probably a lot less as I cut back on a lot of
things this year. My hosting package for one set of sites I pay yearly and
costs me about $129. That's about $6 and change a month. The other
package costs me $17 a month but I get personal one on one service
for that anytime my site has any problems. He's a great warrior here who
really takes care of me, so it's worth it.

Aside from that, my ad expenses are maybe $100 a month now.

If I tried to run all these businesses off line, my ad expense just to have
my number in the phone book would be about $600 a year if I wanted a
really nice ad.

Online expenses are almost non existent and still people want things for
close to nothing.

Makes me scratch my head and wonder what planet these people live on.

Hey, Big Mike, maybe you can shed some light on this subject.

See, sbucciarel is of the opinion that you should lock up your products really tight so pirates can't use them, then chase and harass pirates to make them stop stealing things.

I'm of the opinion that this is a waste of time, and you should just worry about making your customers happy, because a loyal customer base is more worthy of your time than a bunch of pirates.

So demystify this for us. How much of your time - as a percentage - do you spend actively fighting piracy?

Great response Steven.

Several years ago I wrote a beginner's guide that was completely step-by-step and I gave it away free. It was/is comparable to most how-to books out there. Whenever someone wanted me to tell them how to set up their business, etc. I gave them the guide and said "here is a free guide. If you follow it for the next 30 days you will make money. After that come back and buy [insert resource here.]"

It worked pretty well to discourage freebie seekers while giving a chance for real help to those who actually can profit from it.

Great post Mike! Shoot - I even buy your products TWICE - the same one - to then let my full time guy in India use the software to do work for me - your stuff is soooo inexpensive of an investment for the returns!!!

Now - if we could only ALSO figure out a way from preventing bad warriors from copying WSO's and committing blatant stupid stuff - w/o having to pay attorney fees etc. as shoot - the WF rules are you can't name a person by name but shoot...

...when the warrior goes off and calls his products even the same thing or changes one word in it (e.g my offline money mindmap to - "i've got a enhanced version of Maria's offline money mindmap called the offline money blueprint - you get it when you buy this wso from me" (which is also copyright material in my WSO download material so outright thievery...) - how do you get a person like that banned from the WF?

I've bought one of Big Mike's products twice too. It wasn't even for outsourcing reasons. One of my computers died and it was easier to just buy it again at the low, low price of $7.77 than to try to revive an old computer to get the software off of it.

I'm sure he probably would've sent me a copy if I had asked but at such a low price and such a tremendous value, I had no problem paying for it again rather than submitting support tickets.

I have 3 of Big Mike's bots and they are all great. The one time I did submit a support ticket I got a prompt response with a detailed explanation to fix my problem.

Top notch products. Top notch service.

That idiot Anees threw away the opportunity to be a part of this great forum and the opportunity to use Big Mike's software all because he wanted to save 8 bucks. MORON!!!!!!!!!

Hi Maria,

I've found having unique copies of the PDFs lets me trace a good amount of Warrior related piracy. It usually occurs 'off forum'.

Sadly, I suspect a proportion of piracy also come from review copies, which for some reason bothers me more

I don't disageee with anything said in this thread about the value of the software and how we should not worry about spending the money as it is going to save us time and pay for itself. But some of us just don't have the money to buy these software. There is a lot of software that I would love to be able to buy, I just can't afford it because I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY. That doesn't excuse trying to steal it though.

There is a couple of pieces of Big Mike's sofware that I need to buy. I have an alert in my Warrior Plus account to tell me when he does another one of his sales. I can't afford $50 so I have to wait for a deal. I am sure that if I spent the full price it would pay for it very soon, but if you don't have it, what does it matter?

If you are making plenty of money in your internet business, then it is fine to just say buy the software, it will pay for itself. But for those of us that are still trying to start, and don't have it, it is a little difficult to be able to afford all the neat tools that are available.

So I wait for the sales. I am not trying to steal stuff. That isn't right, no matter what.

there will be some who won't agree with this. But when you hear my
reasoning, maybe you'll understand my point.

This is for those of you who run WSOs.

You're going to get people who PM you asking you for your WSO at a
reduced price or even for free because they "can't afford it"

Now I know you're probably thinking, "It's my WSO so I can do what I want
with it" and that's true, it is and you can.

But this is the answer I give these people.

"It wouldn't be fair to those who paid full price for the WSO if I gave it
to you for less."

Please read that and give it some careful consideration before you
dismiss it.

Also, consider this.

You give the person the discount, or even for free, and then he PMs a
bunch of his friends here at the forum and says, "Hey, don't buy that WSO
by so and so. All you have to do is PM him and ask him for a discount and
he'll give it to you."

If this gets around, and it will, eventually, people will see your WSO,
realize that the price there really means nothing and either NOT buy it
OR PM you and try to work out their own "deal" with you.

So I am very firm on this...no special treatment no matter who you are
only because it's not fair to those who paid full price and ultimately will
end up trashing your reputation.

Oh and Mike, I know we've had our differences, but great post. You've
always looked after the well being of the members here and I greatly
respect you for it.

Its true when you are starting out you have to wait for the sales!

When you are making money its essential to invest in your business. Sure you can get freebies on the net, but you need to treat your business with some respect.

ie you would not wear some one elses clothes you found in the pub even if its free why? you have self respect.

You get what you give out!

Treat your business with TLC and it will give you back plenty

Nice post.

Big M's post teaches something more, beyond the piracy issue.

It tells how people with integrity behaves. Those with integrity will always take the extra mile without second thought, and in this thread it would have been to contact Big Mike and ask him personally for the discount.

This is in contrast with people of lesser values, who's first action would always be to take the shortcut.

I was having doubts to post the value that I got from this thread, but I decided to do it anyway coz lately I'm realizing that online success is not just about having more money to spend, owning the latest automation tool or building the most beautiful website. It also depends on establishing real relationships, and in the core of that is integrity.

Both you and Mike stated to contact him for the discount. Well after the poster pointed out the discount in Mike's sig., I wanted to contact him to verify the discount as the sig. doesn't state how much the discount is. So I clicked on Mike's id to send him a PM and was not able to. I assume that he has chosen to not allow PMs. As I didn't know his email address, there is no other way to contact him. So I question, how is one supposed to contact him?

Please understand, I am not justifying the stealing. Just saying that it is easy to say, just contact me, but if there is no way to contact you, that is easier said than done. I bought the SocialBot at the discount. It wasn't 50% off, but pretty close. As Cypherslock said, I tried to contact Big Mike as I wanted to buy more than one item, but there was no way for me to do it. I couldn't afford it at this price anyway, so no big deal. I will have to wait till I make some money or who knows.

Tim, I don't know about the PM thing, but whenever I've gone to the IncanSoft site and sent support questions regarding an IncaSoft product (even products I hadn't yet purchased), Mike has often responded to me personally. In fact, on numerous occasions, not just one or two, he's gone the extra mile (more like extra 10 miles) for me -- asking for nothing in return -- doing more than anyone should reasonably expect from a busy guy like him.

Well I am very disappointed. I got the SocialBot installed and started. Everyone has said how good Mike's stuff is, but no instructions came with it. It does have a help button which I clicked and there are two choices, one takes me back to the web site to buy more products and the other takes me to a forbidden page. So I don't know how to run the software, and there is no instruction or help section.

I guess I must be stupider than I thought. Everyone says how good this is. Seems like no matter what I do, I always run into major problems that I can't figure out. My health problems must be affecting my brain. I didn't used to be this stupid.

I have this product. When I left click on the question mark (i.e. the help icon itself) a 36 page pdf with good instructions appears in the browser. Does this not happen for you? If not I'd raise a support request and I'm sure Mike will help. I remember having a bit of trouble finding the help when I began with this and I think it was because I was clicking the down arrow below the question mark and not the question mark itself.

Thanks Janice and John. I thought I clicked everywhere on that tab, but I guess not everywhere. I finally got it to open the user guide. So maybe I can get something going.

Six years ago, my doctor told me I couldn't work any more and I have been on disability ever since. It is a very slow learn to figure out this internet marketing thing. But I feel that I am getting close. Hopefully I can get a few dollars coming in and get back to supporting myself. I really think that I can do it with the internet, if I can just manage to get over the learning hump. I am looking forward to getting off depending on my government check. I don't feel bad about getting it as I paid in for many years and I have serious medical problems that my last boss used to send me home because of in my last job. This internet has given me new hope though. But like so many things, it doesn't happen over night.

None of this could ever happen if I had not found the Warrior Forum though.

Quite the opposite happened to me once. Someone who bought a WSO from someone else offered to give to me for free. I flatly refused, but regret not reporting him. This kind of activity here is disturbing, especially for those who post WSOs. What can be done to stop this?

That's something else...the guy or girl just wasn't thinking.

If I miss out on a discounted product because I was toooo
slow, I usually contact the owner, and they are willing to
work something out. And each time, they've said they would
be happy to.

I really like to see how the Warrior Forum protects its integrity. People like this may get away with something maybe sometimes, but they will definitely not have a long time in the WF. They seem to weed themselves out, just give them a little time.

We all know where the sites are that you can download free WSOs and other products from, but personally i would rather buy from the author to get the support and also encourage them to make more great products.

Recently a friend sent me over a pdf that he had bought as a WSO and although i had a free copy of it i was so impressed i went and bought a copy from the WSO forum so i could get the lifetime updates and support.

I believe that if a product is good and will help my business then it is worth the investment in buying it

Hello Big Mike and Fellow Warriors!

My sincere apology to everyone and specially to Big Mike for what I did. Yes, I was banned but now released upon request. Thanks to WF administration.

Big Mike, I never meant to buy any of WSO stuff for cheap or so. In fact, I have already bought many WSO from this forum as well as from the websites directly. I'm doing well in my online business, however, this stupid idea I thought after buying few WSO and later realized that those were either not as per the expectations or simply rehearsed, nothing new. I still regret how this stupid thing I did.

Well, later I regretted and now officially bought your product with full price from the website, though I could have bought it with discount coupon code AWESOME! I'm happy with the product and now waiting for the update for categories from Diego.

I hope Big Mike and other warriors will forgive me. It was really very stupid on my part. I'm also happy to see the warriors' integrity and loyalty with WF.
