The best thing I can do is web programming using php, jquery and wordpress..., not good enough though. I am still in intermediate level.

Any place you'd put $1,000 and expect significant return after 2-3 months is not an investment, but a gamble.

Best, ROI? Invest in yourself. Go to Udemy and take a few courses to improve your skills in software development and marketing. Learn, practice and improve. That will have loads of ROI and will cost you much less than $1,000.

Udemy has 50,000 courses. You're on many of them?

Whatever, you totally missed my point. Best of luck then. Wherever you go, there you are.

I almost asked the same question when I first started on this Forum a few weeks ago, but I noticed that there were a ton of posts with the question and almost the same answers. The thing that I recommend is to try and spend as much time as you can reading this IM discussion thread and the WSO thread too - you'll be surprised how much you'll learn. Try to focus on a specific IM niche that piques your interest and delve into it (mine was CPC and list building).
In my opinion, you are just throwing away money by asking others what you should do with "your" money. Find something that you're knowledgeable about and then invest your money in it.

That's the best advice I found so far...

I personally would create, or have created, a product to then offer as a WSO, and outside the WSO forum.

Just make sure that whatever you create ( or have created) is something that is really wanted, and have a plan for what you are going to offer those customers after they make that first purchase.

If you do this, you're also building a nice asset... a list of proven buyers!

Willie has some really good advice. I also think you should take part of that 1K and invest it in Education.
      Really.

I know you can get a lot of the education here. But there are definitely a few advanced courses that can really be beneficial for you. Take time to look into those

Completely Agree with Robert,There is ton of good information here ,But you need to go a bit advanced and invest in yourself ,There are quality courses out there apart from Udemy where you have already taken a few of them personally i have never bought a course from udemy ,I am not sure whether you took any action on them ,BTW 3 months is a long time to get a good ROI ,but the only prerequisite is you should know what you will be doing

    Happy Holidays

As Robert pointed out, take a course or two and learn the basics of the game and then some more. I mean, if you have $1000 to spend then invest it in something that actually brings you long-term value and knowledge.

A course, a good one that is, in Internet Marketing is usually more expensive than actually starting your own online business, so it might be wise to spend it there.

But in the end, what do I know? It's all up to you where you want to spend your money, just make sure that it's valuable and that the price actually matches its value, whether it's hosting, a course, product development, you name it!

    Good luck!

I am already confused. Two to three months and Fast are two different things.

    Anyways....

Traffic is something that needs to be learned even if you have money. There is no traffic method that you can just dump money into that will guarantee you a quick ROI.

Traffic and Conversions happen as a result of your skill sets.

Fast ROI? From my experience you need at least 6 months to get high ROI like 1k+ unless you are really really good in IM or you got a mentor to guide you along.

Fast ROI with $1K without any specific method?

I suggest you just go to a casino and choose red or black on the roulette table, if you just want to get your money back.

Otherwise choose a product/products and find ways to get them to the consumer.

$1k to make a consistent income? I suggest you make 5 kindle ebooks with them and spend some money on marketing. Kindle is great if you make quality products and make them look nice aswell. The amazon ranking system will keep you getting income for 1-2 years if you do it well.

The fastest way to make money is to step into a rushing river that is already flowing, and lowering your bucket into that river.

You might be astonished by how many people walk away from the river, and try to fill their bucket up on the bank...or off in the woods.

    What are people buying now?

    What are they already buying?

Of course you want to make this more specific. So, in the topic areas you like to talk about, what are people buying now?

I suppose dating and music are two huge niches.

Look for things that never go out of style--alcohol, tobacco, firearms...toilet paper, medicine for a condition that can only treated not cured...you see where I'm going with this one?

    Something that's repeatable, duplicatable, scalable.

Toilet paper isn't getting changed any time soon.

People who use it are gonna keep needing it.

That's the mentality, that's the kind of thing to look for...in a niche you're interested in.

The interest level is what keeps you coming back. Willing to work. If you don't have that, you won't get anywhere because you won't do anything.

So as far as your thousand bucks goes...you can lose that in a couple days on lousy ads, so be careful.

    Test with small dollar amounts.

If you can find a legit provider who accepts a rental at that small an amount (most of the ones I know of are around $3K and up), get a mailing to a list of people already opted in to receive offers like yours--and who have likely already bought something similar.

My clients do this in the financial products niche all the time.

There are ways to make this pay off even before they ever see your main offer.

So pick your offer carefully. It's pretty easy to make your $1K back with a $500 offer. You can be an affiliate, and make 50% commission on a $1000 product. And by pre-selecting your niche as people who are already interested in and have likely already bought a product like this one, you're really upping your odds of success.

Contrast with what typically goes on here: the newbie rushes out, spends their dough on untested (and lousy) FB ads...and blows through it in a day and a half.

Personally, I would put that towards a reputable mentor/coach...

It wasn't until I connected with the right mentor, that I started seeing consistent results.

Plus it saved me probably years in learning and trying to figure things out blind on my own.

I wish I focused on Internet Marketing rather than going to college for 4 years.

    Hi,

All I can say is slow down and give this a bit more thought. There is a saying that a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush.

However, There are some great advertisement and revenue sharing programs out there, not every body's cup of tea though but some are very well established and paying out.

Sell on ebay old stuff around the house. You'll get fast ROI there. You may be even able to build a sustainable business with ebay. Only caution i will say is that you DON'T own ebay, so they're liable to ban you for any or no reason.

As far as a website goes.... stop seeking the quick buck.
