12 product or more is not important. The most is how to make customer buy it.

Focus on just selling one . . . one really great design that has customer demand.

Once you've proven it will sell, add a second design and promote it with all your effort.

      Once it's selling add #3.

The idea is to promote each new design added very hard to test it's consumer acceptance. If a design doesn't sell with your full marketing effort, then don't include it on your site.

Selling T-shirts is not about seeing how many different designs you can offer. Your effort should be on finding (or creating) and marketing designs that people will buy. The only way to do that is to promote each design so that you know if there is demand.

You're not selling 12 or 25 or 100 or 500 T-shirts. You're selling one item at a time and you need to prove that item with your marketing.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

        Piggybacking on Steve's advice...

If you want 12 products, look at products, not designs.

Find that design that captures peoples' interest, then create a product line featuring that design:

        > Men's sweatshirt (variety of sizes)
        > Men's hoodie
        > Woman's sweatshirt
        > Woman's hoodie
        > Same for tee shirts
        > Repeat for kids, if appropriate
        > Specialty items, like Jill's crop top, or a beach coverup
        > ???

You could easily end up with over a dozen products based on a single design.

Many individuals who made it big in the T-shirt business had just one product with one core design. They made minor changes to the designs to market them to different people.
