      We've all been there..... So many courses. That's probably your problem and the same problem for many others.

      As the comment above say. Stop reading and start doing. Find one course you like that has promising reviews and then stick with that one course and focus on that one course alone rather than jumping from one to another and with time and hard work you should hopefully have a method you can master, that works and that can help you start making money online.

    I don't understand why so many people have this problem.

    Find a group of people who have a problem they admit exists that you can solve.

    An affiliate product made by someone else is a perfectly acceptable solution.

    Find where they gather, or how you can get in front of them. This is called your TRAFFIC source.

    Tell them you know about their problem. Show them in detail, using their own words.

    Get them to sign up for your marketing campaign.

    Promote your solution. This is called CONVERSION. You can do this by educating, putting the offer in front of them, making them go through an application process...however you want to attempt to convert them into a buyer, and based on what your experience shows you will work.

    That's it.

    Traffic

    and

    Conversion.



    Here's where the real problem is:

    You're scared. And desperate. So this has to work NOW.

    Only NO funnel works NOW, except by luck.

    Do you think expert copywriters and funnel creators get it right out of the gate? NO!!!! We start with something...it's often dead wrong...and we adjust. The fact is we start at a closer point to success, and can make the right adjustments faster to get there. That's what we're paid for. But it sure isn't perfect at the beginning.

    You have fiddle with it. Test, test some more, adjust, keep targeting in closer and closer to match the thought process your target market actually has (rather than the one you think it should have.)

    You have to take the time to figure out your numbers.

    How many leads do you have to put into your funnel to get a sale?

    (hint: more than you think, because you keep jumping from thing to thing instead of waiting more than three days to find out.)

    What can you do to improve that figure once you've established a baseline?

    It just seems like no newbie here is learning a darn thing. You keep going in circles.

    Technology is NOT the solution.

    We are surrounded by technology here, and almost nobody gets it--how to make money.

      What is "this thing" you are talking about? You are looking for a magic bullet and it doesn't exist.

      Affiliate marketing works. Building a list as a source of traffic works. Selling your skills as a service works. PPC advertising to a hungry market works.

      Read Jason's post again. Then read it again. Then go to YouTube and research over-the-shoulder "how to" videos and learn the details you need.

      It's not rocket science to build an Internet business but it does take focus, dedication and a willingness to learn for yourself.

      No matter what people tell you, you won't learn until you start to DO. And if you fail, you learned. Pick yourself up and try again.

      Thanks Jason for articulating what is the real heart of the issue.

      I still have failures but it was about after 10 mediocre results that I hit a winner.

      Now that winner would not necessarily be anywhere close to successful for someone in a different market.

      I knew the first day with that one when I spent $10 and generated $1K sales.

      Now three and a half years later it is the dominant supplier to it's local market and the sales growth this year is close to 100%.

      At the same time as launching that business we made a series of training products over a three day period.

      It did take about 6 weeks of editing and setting up membership sites etc....

      ...but those three days have pulled in over $40K net at around $100 a time over the same period.

      Now in the "bad Ole days" before the internet I used to run courses 4 times a year that resulted in an upfront revenue of $6400 from the 32 or so enrolees that attended a 15-20 hour course over a six week period (1.5 - 2 hours per week - groups of 16)

      and those classes usually generated $18K in sales during the same period.

      When I started in that area the demand always exceeded supply so we had a wait list of usually around 300 people.

      Now...with the Internet....

      ...it never ceases to amaze me that people can't find something that works.

      If you know something that solves a problem someone else has....

      ...there it is.

      Oh....I forgot....helping those people requires WORK.

      Scared to work?

      Lazy?

      get a JOB.... no actually lookout because there are a TON of people who have aspirations and DRIVE who will even beat you to that opportunity.

      The key is really to actually work on producing something that generates income.

      All the methods, tricks, shortcuts only really succeed if you WORK at it.

      Personally I'd suggest working on your own thing or product because that is going to yield the highest return....

      ...maybe not financially....but definitely for your soul.

          From the sound of it, the only way you'll ever believe "this thing really works" is when that first sale drops into your own account.

          I wasn't sure email marketing would work - until I got the first subscriber.

          I wasn't sure Amazon Associates would work - until I got the first commission check.

          I wasn't sure Kindle publishing would work - until I got the first royalty.

          Bottom line, you aren't going to truly believe anything really works until it works for you. And for it to work for you, you first have to work for it. Not a half-hearted try, where if you don't get instant success, you cry about large markets and competition.

          It's easy to say "find this problem" but that's very difficult for someone who doesn't really have much skill in doing market research.

          If anyone has any methods for market research please share.

          One of the things I like to do is run a survey targeting the market that I'm looking to tap into. You can do this simply with survey monkey or go on forums and ask questions.

          Another thing I like to do is find the big players in the niche. Study their sites and find a way to position yourself differently or more competitively.

          Any others have methods for market research they would be willing to share?

            Let's go to google, where many go for searches. And depending on the search terms, the results will pop up. I look for those results with the most ads, people PAYING to be in front of targeted eyeballs.

            Once you know there is a niche with advertisers, you examine their web sites, offers and begin to evaluate if you have something you could create or acquire for that niche.

            IF Yes, proceed, but first ask the existing market if they would be interested in a JV, so before you even begin, you, hopefully have a niche which is ready, willing and able to buy...and then you create/acquire...then rinse-repeat.

            Google searches, with lots of paid ads on the results pages

            is my primary research beginning point.

              Asparuh, its been said already but you really need to read Jason's post again. In fact don't just read it, print it out (or write it out?) and stick it on your computer desk or whatever (in fact I might do that for myself as well!) :-)

              Take a step back, do some more research (and not just on here) and find out what other people don't know and are eager to part with money to be given a good solution.

              Good luck, hope you read through the answers on this thread again.

                Here's a free system that netted me $600 a day for a solid month.

                1. what do people search for most on the web? porn.
                2. how can we use this to our advantage? by linking porn to conversions.
                3. example: dating site signups for $4 a pop. all you need for a conversion is a free signup.
                4. application: create youtube videos with porn scenes. keyword research. lisa ann searches are very popular on youtube. there are others. optimize the video name, title, description with the keyword. put links in other videos and on blogger blogs pointing to the video with the anchor text=keyword. in the description put "FREE Bang Bros Passwords" with a link to a blog post. make lots of videos. make lots of blogger pages all pointing to this blog post with a link to the free porn passwords.

                on the blog page linking to the free porn passwords, spin a tale. your friend used to be webmaster at Bang Bros. they fired him. he wants to get even. the web team has to make constant updates to their pages and test them each month. they all use the same in-house user name and password as a back door. your friend knows where they keep it and posts it for all to see IF they only know where to look.

                where do they look? in your friend's dating website profile page of course. scroll about half way down and you can't miss it there on the left. the user name and password change every month. oh, don't worry about accessing the profile page if you're not a member. you can just sign up for a free trial using a fake name. no credit card necessary. here, use this link.

    A lot of people fail in making money in internet marketing because they are lied to and given false hopes by all these courses and programs. Some of them do hold value, but most of them are plain ridiculous. I remember when I was new seeing a program that said the guy made 111,000 in 11 minutes. These are outrageous claims.
    Also, a lot of people stick with clickbank and digital products for their high commissions. Let me tell you something, people are a lot more inclined to buy physical products than paying for PDFs and videos.
    Get into physical products market. You can either become an Amazon affiliate or find a distributor/dealer/wholesaler and work out an agreement. Trust me, I wasted more than a year behind digital products and as soon as I made the jump to physical products. I saw sales within the first week and customers were happy as well.
    Just make sure that you don't sell counterfeit crap. You can sell original, even top brand products online. Just search for the right dealers and you will be making money steadily. Just scale on it. The great thing about physical products is the limitless potential with it. You can give discounts, packages, incentives. You even get high quality stuff for fraction of prices in clearance sales. Set your own commission.

    I'll tell you the secret but 99% of the people hate it and WILL NEVER DO IT and if they can they would ban it. To them it's evil.

    Let me tell you how I figured it out.. I was born in a country where what I'm going to tell you is hated and the government wanted to ban it came close before the collapse and hyperinflation..

    In other words; people with no business experience or acumen.

    Ask yourself; "If the Internet didn't exist, would I be trying to 'start a business'?"

    This may not be everybody's cup of tea, The purists among us may not agree with me. But I am making some good money online.

    I started by joining a popular Traffic exchange in March 2015 and quickly learnt to use my profits to buy paid Traffic to get new members to join my team in the Traffic Exchange. I earn a 10% commission for life on each paid referral that I have.

    To date, I have withdrawn thousands of $ from my Traffic exchange in profits.

    So from using the Traffic Exchange profits, I am able to afford monthly membership for a powerful
    marketing platform which I use to build sales funnels to which I point all my purchased traffic (Solo ads).

    I am sharing this same marketing platform and am now beginning to build up a nice residual income as an affiliate of the marketing platform.

    Along the way, I have also learnt to make and post videos on youtube (I have 45 subscribers and approaching 2,000 views and channel is just over 2 months old and I own 2 websites, all of which serve to send me more traffic.

    I am making enough money and building my online business that I am now beginning to think of going full time some time in 2016.

      This may not be everybody's cup of tea, The purists among us may not agree with me. But I am making some good money online.

      I started by joining a popular Traffic exchange in March 2015 and quickly learnt to use my profits to buy paid Traffic to get new members to join my team in the Traffic Exchange. I earn a 10% commission for life on each paid referral that I have.

      To date, I have withdrawn thousands of $ from my Traffic exchange in profits.

      So from using the Traffic Exchange profits, I am able to afford monthly membership for a powerful
      marketing platform which I use to build sales funnels to which I point all my purchased traffic (Solo ads).

      I am sharing this same marketing platform and am now beginning to build up a nice residual income as an affiliate of the marketing platform.

      Along the way, I have also learnt to make and post videos on youtube (I have 45 subscribers and approaching 2,000 views and channel is just over 2 months old and I own 2 websites, all of which serve to send me more traffic.

      I am making enough money and building my online business that I am now beginning to think of going full time some time in 2016.

    Pick something and go for it and learn along the way.

    No course I have ever come across has given you the complete package, you will always add your own twist to everything you learn.

    Once you have picked a method, go full steam ahead but never stop learning, read, watch, listen and then implement.

    I guess you're looking for some quick riches, but there's no such thing, it'll take a bit of time to see results. Focus on one method that has worked for others, if it's not working for you, then try another method. If a method has worked for others then it means it's a proven method but it's just not right for you. Keep trying until a method that'll be a right fit for you.

    Always, always remember, there's no such thing as push button riches!!!

    These things have already been stated very well by others and here are my 2 cents:
    *Take stock of your own skill sets - what do you bring to the table? You don't have to be an "expert" at marketing but you will need to learn the basics - so start with that and with what you actually enjoy and/or know something about.
    * Find the hungry market by doing your research and then provide it with a solution to a problem. It could be a service or product. If it's a service, decide whether you want to actually be the service provider or more the idea person who outsources work to the service providers. You can start with places like fiverr, elance (whatever they call it now). If you want to sell a product, you could do affiliate marketing -- nothing wrong with that. I didn't have success with IM until I got into selling physical products but you'll have to decide what's right for you.
    *Focus on one thing - unsubscribe from marketers' mailing lists and put on your blinders. Tell yourself "I'll give this a solid 3-6 months of my undivided attention." By the end of that time, you should have a good idea about whether it's for you or not. And don't get frustrated if you aren't making a living within 6 months. A lot of very smart people quit too soon. Give yourself permission to fail and to start something new later if need be. Just don't hop from one thing to another until you've seen the first thing through.
    *Find other people who know more than you do and ask for help. The more specific you are with your questions, the easier it will be for them to help you.
    *Lastly -- offer to help other marketers. They will appreciate it and the support will come back to you tenfold.

    Pick a niche, any niche where lots of people have a painful problem. Find an affiliate product that solves that problem, and also has good marketing tools. Tell others about the solution that you discovered, and know works.

    DON'T look for shortcuts... that's what gets a lot of people!

    There are several methods to make money online. As a matter of fact I do have a book explaining 500 ways to make money online. But i will be frank, it's not easy to make a dime unless you have targeted website traffic. Once you learn how to solve that menace, you can make as much as you want online.

    What has worked for me for just over 16 years now is...

    I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead) offers, the main reason being is that there is no credit card required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form to make money. So conversion rates are typically much higher than offers that require a sale. Basically, I'm just generating leads.

    I favor offers that have a make, get or save money angle to them, as they have overall worked best for me, as they tend to have the greatest mass appeal. So the potential to produce high volume exists.

    There are many PPL offers that pay $20-$60 each (and higher depending on the vertical) that work well with front-end campaigns. Offers that pay less or even those that require a sale, I will run on the back-end.

    Of course having great offers isn't going to make you any money unless you can drive cost effective traffic to them. The way I drive traffic is by acquiring fresh/targeted data(email) that I know what the users are interested in and I know there's a ppl that exists that matches their interest. I generate real-time co-reg that targets specific ppl offer. I also acquire aged data, which is a bit more involved to explain in this post.

    The reason why I acquire data over other marketing strategies is that I'm building assets that I then own and can market to them over and over at little cost.

    Obviously there is more involved. But it's not some BS strategy, as I said, I have been doing it for 16 years and while some things have changed over time, the basic strategies and principles behind it haven't.

    The biggest downside is that it takes money to make money. The upside is that it really does work and can be extremely profitable. Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, does 6-7 figures. While that is a huge range, a lot comes down to scaling and then effectively managing the infrastructure that come with scaling.

    Anyway, something to think about.

    Of course you are right. But there are many right ways also. You can choose anyone of them. You can do Adsense or, Affiliate Programming, if you want. I think it is one of the good way of earning from the online sector. Thanks.

      If you are new, I would suggest to stay away from affiliate marketing and any methods that require you to have a lot of traffic to make sales.

      The problem when you start is this: Most methods require TIME and EFFORT, but chances are high that you have a job right now and this is way you can't put too much time and effort on your online business. Any techniques that require YOU getting TRAFFIC is the worst way to begin in my opinion. The reality is that it takes a lot of TIME.

      You want cash and you want it fast. Once you make at least $2000 per month, then you have more time to focus on other stuff that require more time but for now, focus on something that gives you CASH QUICKLY.

      I started on Fiverr and this is how I reached my first $500 per month quickly. I then started with Amazon and this is where things started to grow really quickly. The good thing with both of these websites is THEY BRING THE TRAFFIC FOR YOU. The is the perfect place to start. I suggest Fivver if you are really new and want to get your feet wet and make you first $ online, and Amazon if you want to make thousands per month, build a backend, a list etc.

    judging from your responses to some good advice its time for some tough love.

    With your mentality and attitude, there is no way for you to make money online or in any other business until you change your attitude and mindset.

    Stop blaming this or that and saying everything doesn't work, when you most likely didn't put in the required effort, to learn mess up a little and get better.

    Go get your self a job or 2. Save money start reading mindset and success books from successful people to get your mind right and maybe if you can actually take advice and not shoot everything down a few years from now maybe try again...

    So my advice to you is change your mindset or quit, cause you'll just be wasting your time unless you get your mind right...

    Signup on various dating sites. Then daily share the link of your affiliate with your friends of Facebook/ Twitter & ask them to join. haha...are you laughing at me?

    Dont do it...you must describe yourself what you can do actually, then only anybody can suggest you something best. Because, thousands of thousands of ways there are online that can make you money. But, your starting point depends on your experience/ on your own interest.

    The key problem here is to make first money. It is difficult to overrate the importance of making first money as soon as possible.
    Go to fiverr, offer THREE ARTICLES for 5 dollars. Write them, sell them. You'll get 5 (actually, 4) dollars for this job. But you'll be motivated and inspired.
    Later you'll understand that it is much more profitable make money through blogging or affiliate marketing. But the first money is tremenduosly important.
