What do you think of replicating this site?

As the title says, I'm thinking of doing something similar to this 'preparing wannabe investment bankers' for their first job as an IB: https://www.wallstreetprep.com/ I will however be focusing on a different niche industry.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks. Kinda looking for feedback on the pros on cons of such a model :-)

It is really not a model, it is a theme. You said that you will be using a different niche, I mean, what is the "Model". It is just a WP site with content.

If you have the experts and the knowledge and the history and the connections of the site you link to - it's a great model.

Without any idea of what topic/niche you are considering, how could anyone offer advice?

Since you are not disclosing your niche, it would be hard to give more specific advise than Al's "Go for it".

Some markets would be better than others.

For example, this would be an excellent model for something like prepping for the RNA Nurses Test. But maybe not so much for lawyers preparing for the BAR exam.

Thanks. Yes, fair points, although at this stage I didn't really want to reveal the niche. I was just interested in general thoughts from the point of view of setting up something that...
    - targets a niche industry which requires examinations
    - promoting products that appear to be non affiliate products (or at least not clickbank affiliate type products)
    - education based (for individuals seeking to get their first job in the industry) with potential upsellls and cross sells, such as interview prep etc.

It's a great model. Requires certain skills. But, as soon as you talk affiliate links, you're parting ways with the model the site you gave uses.

So, what model are you going to use?

Really, you are not doing anything different than most sites selling niche products.

You want to deliver content and sell digital products. The fact that it's a site for people preparing for exams doesn't mean anything special.

What will make your site seem educational and professional (I assume you would want that kind of "feel" to your site) is simply to choose a professional looking theme for your WP platform and then provide professional level categories, content, and products. All this will depend upon you and how you design and develop your site.

Don't make it spammy with adsense links, flashing banners, lots of various affiliate products no related to the niche etc.

I would suggest a theme from StudioPress, maybe NewsPro or similar - something that is a CMS geared theme that is not "artsy" or too creative.

It's all up to you to design and develop what you want.

I don't know y some of us have problems with clickbank products

They have been massive to some of us and has helped us to make a killing online

The main thing is how do you want to monetize the traffic for the site?

Referring to my example, there are many Nursing career related CPA offers, not so much for lawyers.

If you are using advertising like AdSense then niches like nursing, paramedics and law have high CPC values for AdSesne ads.

It is not really advisable to disclose your niches or specific strategy in an open marketing forum like this, so nobody is begrudging you for that.
