Did you buy ads from WarriorForum? $100 per day

Hi, Warriors!
I consider buying a banner in top position from WarriorForum. They charge $100 for 1 day (10 banners in rotation).
Maybe, someone has an experience?
I'm going to create a banner like "Download free ebook" and send people to squeeze page offering a free ebook. My niche is MMO, ebook "different ways to make money online".
What do you think about this idea?

    Hey whats up bro,

Yes Warrior forum banner do convert a lot ,But if i am doing it for the first time ,I would not use it for building my list ,as i know with 100$ i would be getting somewhere around 200 clicks and with 40 per optin ,i would be having 80 leads with a solo Ad ,Which would be difficult with the banner Ad here ,

But if i know ,i have a high end product with a big commission ,I would definetely give it a shot ,Because i would just require a single sale to make up for the Ad,and might even be in profit who knows ,

If your focus is only about building list try solo ads or what you can do is place your ad in the classified ads ,It will cost you only 20 bucks and if you think you r getting subs ,you can always bump it up

    Hope it makes sense

hey like any form of advertising your funnel and conversion is what matters you could send a million people to your offer funnel etc but if only 2% convert then well this is not good.

Warrior forum offers two key things in their advertising:-

      1. A large audience and reach. Good impressions and for a 24 hr period your ad can get shown ALOT!!
      2. The audience is definitely targeted and mostly relevant.
So create an awesome banner and have a great funnel....then your ROI will be great

Hey Shaun ,have a fab 2016 my friend ,

I slightly disagree here ,Just your opinion on this do you agree spending 100 bucks for a day is worth building a list when you have no funnel

        May god bless you bro

Thanks for you opinion. I didn't mean spending 100 bucks for a day. I mean that they charge 100 baxes for adding my or your banner into rotation.

hey there no without a funnel in place any marketing campaign will likely fail. I was just talking about some areas of his question. Building a list is always worth it, but only when done right!!

          Happy new year..

I think you should test it and let us know your results.

Of course they will have no meaning for anyone but you, with your specific ad, on the day your ad runs.

Maybe someone has tried it - doesn't mean they would report results to others.

I'm not certain you are clear on the fees...the $100 is not shared with others but as I understand it is for each banner in rotation that day.

If you look to the lower right of the banner at the top you will see a link to "click here" to see the ads in rotation today. The maximum is 11, I think but there may not be that many some days. I've seen several times where there were 1-5 ads rotating per day. You can't control that - you can only pay for an ad and if it's approved see how it does for you.

Here are the results of a WF banner ad (top of fold 24hours) run Dec 28th, 2015.... Yes, I am aware that this was holiday time frame, but there were many less advertisers so the banner would be seen more than if it competed with 10 or more. My banner only competed with 1-2 other banners during that 24 hours. I hope you enjoy the information I am sharing with you. Remember, you need to test these things yourself - your experience, your results are what really matters.

      What I wanted to accomplish.....

Mission – Drive Traffic to A Squeeze Page Using a WF Banner Buy & This banner

Thoughts About The Mission & why I chose a WF Banner Buy.

Yes, there are many, many, ways to pay for traffic, but unless you are using one of the big guys, FB, Google, Bing (click fraud is rampant.) WF operates their own banner system and the price is per day the banner is displayed not PPC (pay per click). There is no benefit for WF to create fake clicks – so I my opinion all clicks would be genuine – and yes, this turned out to be true in my opinion. I knew going in I would likely not make money with this ad buy, but it could be a great testing platform because it is untouched by fraud.

Data I wanted to analyze -

      * I was most interested in Tier1 signups. Tier 1 countries in my opinion, yours may differ, are; USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand & Singapore. I apologize if you are from a non Tier 1 country reading this report, but I have always found my conversion rates to be extremely low from non Tier 1 countries. If you can convert these into buyers and consistently make a profit – rock on – you are light years ahead of me! Of course, WF banner ads are displayed to users in all countries, so I knew in advance the Tier1 group would probably be small.

      – I wanted to find out how many total clicks the banner would get.

      – I wanted to breakdown those clicks by total clicks per country.

      – I wanted to figure out the total cost per click – taking the cost of the banner placement divided by the number of clicks.

      – I wanted to see how many Tier 1 clicks it would get.

      – I wanted to figure out the total cost per click coming from Tier 1 countries – taking the cost of the banner placement divided by the number of clicks coming from Tier 1 countries only.

      – I wanted to see how many Optins I would get from Tier 1 countries, as well as from all other countries

      – I wanted to see how many people check their email to claim the free gift. – I wanted to figure out if single or double optin was right for my offer.

      The Squeeze Page

      Banner Results

After the banner run has been completed, the WF send an email with CTR (click through rate info) - here is the info.

      CTR .036%
      Impressions 18,432
      Click Count 67

      Info I got from tracking;

      Tier 1 Clicks and optins

      Australia 2 clicks – 0 optin
      Canada 5 clicks - 2 optin
      New Zealand 1 click – 1 optin
      Singapore 0
      USA 20 - 8 optins
      UK 0 clicks
      Total Tier 1 clicks = 28
      Total Tier 1 optins = 11
      Tier 1 Optin rate - 39%

39 clicks came from Non Tier 1 countries that are difficult to drive sales.

      Cost per Tier 1 subscriber - $100/11 = $9.09 USD

Of course, some that subscribed did not enter a real email address - so the cost per subscriber is actually higher.

** Hopefully you appreciate these real numbers. There is NO DOUBT that I lost money with this banner buy - big time - but it does not mean WF banners do not work. IM is all a learning process and a testing process.

*** In order to learn - you need to test things yourself - so I actually considered this a positive learning experience.

I had some success with marketing Improvely through WF banners. I've run the campaigns a couple times. Here's the metrics for one of the better ones:

The CPC came out to $1.19 which is less than I pay for AdWords clicks. The conversion rate for free trial signups was very good.

I'm not sure which banner that was for. These are some of them...

I've advertised on the top and lower banner. The top banner gave me much more clicks to my squeeze page than the lower banner. The conversions were typical for my page, so it was all good. But $100/day for 30 days is a good deal - if you have the kind of offer and backend funnel that can make you back your money fast. That's $3,000/month. I know a few other advertising strategies i use (very well) that would consume my $3,000/month. I will exhaust those options first, then when i need more targeted clicks... $3,000/month is what i'm going to be paying for that top WF banner ad.
