Best way to sell and market an original ebook? Noob questions

I think I have a couple of great ebook ideas that will offer solutions to problems that alot of people have in two main niches. I have no internet marketing experience whatsoever and am looking to avoid as many beginner mistakes as possible and build a successful business selling these ebooks. I believe I have a decent grasp on creating the ebooks and setting up with clickbank, the main issues I am having is how to go about creating the sales pages and how to promote and market them.

What are the best landing page creators? I assume I should create a sales page like other ebooks I see out there, basically a one page layout that converts to a sale/download. I see companies like Unbounce, Wix, Lander etc. Should I use one of these to create landing pages and then a/b test them? I am not opposed to having the pages custom designed. I think that might be the way to go.

Once I have the sites designed how should I go about driving traffic to them? I know I could create a blog, or pay for google ads. Any best practices here?

I'm sure there's a million things I will need to know but I need to start somewhere and these are the first questions that come to mind. Advice appreciated.

Thanks

As far as marketing, definitely open a blog and post content consistently. Also, hop on social media and start building your credibility as an author. You can post snippits of your e-book and link to your site to entice people to read more about your product/solution. For social media, make sure your branding is consistent and you are supplying a variety of posts, not just linking your e-books over and over. You want to offer value to your followers and if you are just promoting the same products, they won't stay on board.

I would try to sell it on Amazon first to see if it sells. If it doesn't sell on Amazon, chances are high that it won't sell on your Niche website also.

I agree that Amazon is the best platform to "Start" selling your eBook because they will make it available to the masses.

For creating the landing page or sales page, actually you can outsource the work to other people. Fiverr is the place you can find a lot of people can do the work for you. For traffic, you can also use bing traffic, solo ads traffic
