It's no matter that what's your current business model. If you'll get a chance to restart, what would you do differently?

Agree with this. sometimes, I'm still warring about things even I had procrastinated 9 years ago. I know it's useless in many causes, but, that warring reminds me that "You should do this now".

Keep it easy. When I started out, I wrote a small Ebook and I built a website with a sales page that I paid a copywriter to write...Had to bring traffic etc etc. It was way too hard for an absolute beginner like I was.

What you need when you are first starting out is a system that gives you money QUICKLY and EASILY. That's what I would have changed. I would have none of that : build a website and bring traffic craziness because the fact is that it takes way too much time at first.

I wished I started on Amazon WAY SOONER. This is how I started, this is how I eneded up making more money than I was making as a financial analyst, and this is where i'm on my way to a few million per year. I can also build a list, a back-end, and bring traffic to my website also and it is highly targeted traffic. Oh, and Amazon is sending all this traffic for FREE to me.

That's what I would change. I would go all in in that direction instead of taking the path that for some reasons everybody likes to cheer about but just is not the best option, especially for a beginner!

Inspiring story. Can I ask how you're getting free traffic from Amazon? Is it ebooks?

As stated above, I would take action sooner rather than later. The more you think about something, the more unsure you become.

Sure, proper research is vital, but if I've learned something it's that you should often trust your gut feeling. Doesn't matter what it is in life, your gut feeling is usually good enough!

"Completeness", As I think, That's what you've meant here. Actually, waiting for the completeness is a good thing when it considers along the quality of the ultimate output, but, you'll need to take the right action at the right moment, unless, you'll never do it.

I would just start selling ebooks when I was in the 9th grade. Get an early jumpstart on my future. I'm not sure how this information benefits you though - considering since you've been on the forum since 2011.

My question to you is why the thread? was this to make other Warriors feel bad? or are you going to write an e-book from the answers?

I guess my reason for answering is that all the time you have been here and as far as I can see you have only once maybe twice posted some thread with an idea to help!

Because the majority who answer this thread will not follow though with what they write.

"What you shouldn't do?" with some causes, it works better than "What you should do?" and that's the what works for me. So, this thread is for my own benefit & I'm not gonna write an eBooks from the answers.

How do I use fellow warriors' ideas into my own advantage?

The beginning is the beginning and nobody has a right direction at the beginning. But, today, they're enlighten....... so, that's what I'll suck. How?

I wouldn't change a thing. Everything happens in life for a reason.

BUT...if I could give advice to someone just starting out it would be this.

Pick a topic you LOVE under Wealth, Health, or Relationships. Build a list around that topic. Get traffic to a squeeze page where you give away a free PDF, report, or video. Email your list cool content and offers. Once you have a good sized list create a product and launch it to them.

    Ask that girl out.

Leaving the joke aside ... if somehow you would be able to start again from let's say five years ago, you would know and be exactly the same person.

The conclusions that you have right now are based on the fact that you haven't done those things. So if you say "I would procrastinate less" it is because you've procrastinated in the last five years.

Therefore, unless it is one of those fantasies of "If I would go back knowing what I know now in the past, what I would I do differently", chances are that you would do EXACTLY the same thing.

It is easy to take good decisions in foresight, it is not so easy without the experience that brought those good decisions.

A better question is "In five years, what would you have wished you would have started now?". This actually makes sense. Anything else is just wishful thinking.

You can't turn back time and even if you could, unless you bring what you are now to then, it is useless.

There is a Chinese proverb - "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now".

So what would you do now so in five years, your future self will be grateful for this decision?

Well I wouldn't buy all the Crap that was absolutely unnecessary and be about 10k richer. I joined this Forum a couple of years ago and like many others bought every thing under the sun. But I started this journey back in the day when you buy stuff from infomercials on TV or Radio. Why, because I drove a Tanker Truck for living and busted my buns 60 hrs a week all over the country.

I now have a couple of Websites that pay me more than the driving job. Thanks to this Forum and a lot of search and research before you click that shiny Buy Button.

Now If I start again, I will now that I need to work even harder, do not be lazy. Keep track on my progress, learn from biggest names in industry. And if something looks too good to be true it wouldn't thru propably.

But I already know that doin mistakes is part of a learning curve. The thing is do not give up, still learn, make real connections with people in industry

    I probably wouldn't change a thing.

    Why?

Because I made a ton of mistakes.

But it was in those mistakes that 'shaped' me into what I am today. It was in learning 'lessons' Online and Life in general.

Most people are trembling in their shoes and doing what ever is in their power to 'avoid' making mistakes.

But for me, it was those 'seeming' mistakes that held all the power.

Build a list sooner I guess.

However, if I went back knowing what I know now I think I'd be very rich. I'd know things before others etc.

Imagine thinking up Facebook in 1999... Would the world have been ready? I think so but not to the scale of what it has become.
